The announcer just compared Sammy Watkins to Julio Jones. I saw Julio Jones all 3 of his years at Alabama and Watkins is already better. He isn't as big and strong but his hands are better and their speed isn't even close. When Julio Jones was a freshman, he was very good but he played like a great freshman. Watkins has a maturity about him. It's hard to explain. And Dwayne Allen is a 1st rounder next year for sure.
Is it too late for Sammy Watkins to be a Heisman hopeful? I jest only slightly. 89 yards to put Clemson back on top.
Wow. Kansas just displayed the worst pass defense I've ever seen at any level (and that says a lot from a Texans fan). I can see why they're 120th on D. Their offense is playing much better though. Damn it...
Dude, so long as we have the extremely overrated Landy Jones out there, I'm absolutely terrfied of that game.
so what is the ruling on that broyles near fumble there? there was contact but no part of his body (except maybe the left wrist) touched the ground before the ball and that isn't part of the "ground can't cause a fumble" as far as i know. like if you try to balance yourself with the hand you have the ball in and fumble, it's a fumble. and that's pretty much what happened there, unless they rule the left wrist down, but i can't remember if the wrist counts or not. football has so many little nuances to rules that it's crazy. edit: but it's ou so i think we can safely say it won't be overturned. record long review either way. edit edit: ruled a fumble. not really sure i've ever seen that happen. that stretching out and slamming the ball into the ground actually turned into a fumble. why can't you ****ers (i say that with all due respect) play like this against us?
This is f-ing pitiful. I really don't want to hear any more b****ing from folks up here about Bama and LSU.
Not saying the pass defense is any good, but we are far from the worst. Think those numbers might be skewed a bit as a result of playing OSU, Arky, Tech, and Baylor, all of whom run a quick no-huddle and are probably near the top in passing offense.
