I see where they could be coming from. Redman is a non factor even if Mendenhall were still out and they're probably taking into account the ONE touchdown Moreno had when Tebow was inserted, more than likely they think he'll play better with him in the starting line up. Bradshaw will end up picking it up this season especially with the winter coming around and Brandon Jacobs' knee issues. Again I can see where they're coming from because your'e giving so much for just one player.
Cooley has played every game this season, and been outplayed by Davis in all but one. Davis is almost always on the field, as they've gone to more 2 TE sets.
He is giving up very little, IMO. I would refuse to play with any person who vetoes that trade. The trade may actually help him more than it helps you, but that doesn't mean you don't both benefit, which is what trades in FF should be about.
That's one thing I don't count on, Bradshaw picking it up that is. The offensive line isn't that great and the Giants are 28th in rushing offense and 31st in yards per attempt. Not to mention their defense has a lot of injuries and they've been playing behind a lot making the run game a moot factor.
How bout this one? Give: Michael Turner + Mike Tolbert Get: AJ If the guy accepts would this be a good trade for me, I think he has Ingram and Forte for his starters and I play him this week, do you guys think this could end up biting me in the a**?
I hate leagues like that... even if it's a 60/40 deal, isn't that the POINT of a trade - to try and WIN the deal. They should be congratulating the winner for making something happen. They should be trying to make trades that they can win as well. Stupid leagues like that hinder good managers...
Hell no. Chris Johnson can only get better and Forte is playing about as well as he can. Tebow is going to be a fantasy stud. I own both CJ2K and Tebow and I'm confident they're going to lead me to the promised land.
Probably won't get much of a response on this one, but for IDP players...specifically DB. I have Morgan Burnett and LaRon Landry as my DBs, Landry's essentially had one full healthy game under his belt, and a bye week, meanwhile Burnett has actually been doing fairly well. I'm perfectly fine with going Landry the rest of the way, but the problem I suppose become, do I want to drop Burnett? I may need an extra roster spot for some bye week maneuvering over the next 2-3 weeks, so this kind of becomes the glaring obvious choice after I see this... His productivity has to go down with the broken hand, and maybe I can pick him up again once I'm out of bye week hell, where his hand should probably be healed, and no one looking for a DB is going to go after him since most in my league end up just sorting by total season fantasy points it seems when picking up free agents. Thoughts?
A receiver and a flex: Marques Colston vs. Tampa, AJ Green vs. Indy, Jeremy Maclin vs. Washington, or David Nelson vs. Giants? Other receiver position is taken by Miles Austin. Only available running back is Mark Ingram, and he hasn't been good enough to justify starting over those any of those guys.
I'd go with AJ Green for sure cause he's a stud and then a tossup between Colston and J-Mac. I'd lean towards J-Mac since Vick and the Eagles shredded the Skins last year and I remember Jackson and Maclin both having huge games. I know this is a new year and the Eagles are struggling but I think they will get it together this week.
That's exactly why I expect him to perform a lot better thru the second half. The Giants defense has been horrid (see examples against the Seahawks most recently and Cardinals not long ago). The Vikings D managed to hold the Cards to 3 points, Giants... not so much. 36 & 27 points respectively. Therefore they've been throwing a lot more than a usual Coughlin offense has. If you guys have been able to catch any games they've been unable to sustain ling drives and most plays have come from long yardage scores. It's hard to score that way every game and hope that Eli doesn't self destruct or that Manningham steps up for once this season and contribute. So far it's been all Cruz & Nicks. That's just my thought, if some guys like Tuck, Osi, and even Prince get a chance to play together they can turn it around and get the ball to Bradshaw more often to preserve a lead.
I just hate to drop Burnett when he's been fairly consistent, as far as IDPs go anyway. As in I don't want anyone else grabbing him, but his value is certainly diminished for any period of time that he's got a cast/club on. I'll likely ultimately drop him after this week, unless I need to find a player off waivers soon.
Okay, I need to find a RB. My choices are: Roy Helu, Jr. Jonathan Stewart Kendall Hunter With this group, how should I play it? If I base it on match up and upside, Helu, Jr. is going against the eagles and their 28 ranked defense. Also, with Shanahan at the helm, I could end up with a big day or a goose egg. The last 3 games Helu has gotten 10, 5, and 8 carries. Which is unpredictable in and of itself. If I base it on the entire season, rather than 1 game, J-stew has been the most consistent back, but then he has a couple of bad things against him. His carries are trending downward: 10, 8, 6. Also, last week, D-will went off, and third, Cam is getting all the goal line carries. Finally, he has a bad match up this week against the Falcons (8) in opp rushing yards. If I want the safest play, I think Kendall Hunter is that. He is getting 9 carries a game consistently and he is a lock for about 8-10 points a game. He is going against Detroit who is middle of the pack in terms of rushing defense. I think that will Gore pounding away at the Lions it may soften up than Lions defense and Kendall can break one. Also, does it make a difference if I have the Lions D? I'm thinking that I might go with Helu, because he offers upside and a good matchup and just take my chances. Right?
I just traded Larry Fitzgerald, Ray Rice and Robert Meachem for Chris Johnson, AJ Green and Reggie Wayne. ****in blockbuster type ****.
WTH? CJ is on a bye and Rice is coming off of a bye. This is a crazy deal. I do like AJ Green, but Wayne is disgruntled. What was your thinking when you made this deal, Moe?
