I pretty sure that Jahvid is a Best. I'll agree with what. Best has been garbage most of his career. PPR is the only way he even has decent value in a 10 team league.
I'd keep my eye on Jason Hill. He's getting top targets from Yo Gabbert Gabbert, plus he's finally healthy. Just a mid season sleeper that may pay off on byes and prime match-ups.
Finally got guy to give up Brees: SENT: J. Flacco, A. Bradshaw, K. Moreno RECEIVED: D. Brees, I. Redman Good or bad?
I like it. The reality is, you gave up Bradshaw for Brees. Moreno and Redman are both fairly worthless without injuries. And with Brees, Flacco would just be Bench fodder. You can probably pick someone up that will be more valuable than Moreno was.
I don't know. With Tebow coming in I am expecting a more run-oriented offense and Moreno getting more touches but I think McGahee will hold up and Moreno will be limited in what he does.
Moreno had 0 carries last week and McGahee has been a beast. Obviously he has value if McGahee gets hurt, but with Moreno, his own injury is right around the corner.
Should I go with Starks or Earnest Graham? Blount is doubtful for next game, so Graham will get lots of carries, they are playing against Saints, so maybe they will have to pass more. Starks is playing against St. Louis, but he is going to share carries with Grant.
I already have him. I just have this gut feeling that Sam Bradford is about to put it together. I don't know why.
I was going to start Ryan Grant but when I heard the following news I dropped Alex Smith and picked up Graham and I'm going to insert him in the lineup in place of Grant. I have my concerns 1) He's old. 2) He was never very good. 3) He's playing for one of the worst offenses/offensive lines. With that said lots of RB 1 and 2's are on BYE week. Graham's going to get the bulk of the carries and he will also catch passes on the check-down. I like him more than any one of the plethora of RB's Washington is rolling out this week.. I like Graham more than Delonte Carter and obviously more than my own Grant or Starks if I had him. http://bucsscene.blogs.theledger.com/12440/tampa-bay-bucs-running-back-dilemma/ J.P. Peterson of WQYK-AM 1010 in Tampa reports LeGarrette Blount has a MCL Grade 2 tear. An MCL tear can leave a player sidelined anywhere from 2-6 weeks. Peterson hears that Blount is out "at least a few weeks," which means he won't be available through the Week 8 bye. The timetable isn't much different from the St. Petersburg Times report that Blount's status is already in question for Week 7. At this point, we wouldn't expect to see him before Week 9. Hold off on adding Kregg Lumpkin in all but the deepest of leagues.
I am also thinking about playing Fred Davis AND Kendrick. My lineup this week is: Freeman McCoy (Mathews is on a bye) So, either Helu, Stewart or Kendall Hunter Wallace Santana Moss Either, Manningham (which I don't like), Brandon Gibson, Hartline, David Nelson, Moore Fred Davis Flex- Lance Kendrick Defense - Detroit Kicker - Dan Bailey So, I'm thinking of putting my two TE ahead of Manningham, Hartline, D.Moore and starting Nelson.
IMO, Fred Davis is not good now, since Cooley is back, they are going to use Cooley more, and barely give Davis the ball.
Sorry what ill answer any question.. Just traded j.nelson and e.graham for a.gates. did I make.a.smart move? My other te is Dallas Clark
Who are your other WRs and RBs? I think it's a good move considering the two players you gave up are not true stars. Gates might end up being a big time payoff for you. Especially in the playoffs.
Wrs are m.Wallace,j.maclin,d.bryant,s.rice Rbs are c.Johnson,f.Jackson,j.addai,m.lynch,r.helu Been trying to get a better Rb3 by trading d.bryant and addai. Thinking Lynch could turn it around.
I have Dustin Keller and Kellen Winslow. Both of them have been disappointing. With the Jets going run run run and Sanchez being unbelievably mediocre, I have no trust in Keller.
So for the deal above, I have several owners threatening vetoes. They say the deal helps the OTHER guy too much. They say it is a 60/40 deal for him. How the hell is the deal above 60/40 in his favor? Our rosters: MINE QB: J. Flacco RB: R. Rice, F. Jackson, A. Bradshaw, F. Jones, K. Moreno, R. Williams, C. Spiller WR: L. Fitzgerald, S. Johnson, D. Branch, J. Knox, Julio Jones TE: J. Graham DEF: Eagles K: B. Cundiff HIS QB: D. Brees RB: D. Brown, D. Carter, T. Jones, M. Tolbert, D. Brown, I. Redman, L. Blount WR: G. Jennings, M. Floyd, E. Decker, James Jones, A. Brown, D. Heyward-Bey DEF: Lions K: N. Folk
