See. Then I don't get it. While most posters generally post lots of crap, Bima seems to me to be the only person who write well thought out stuff all the time. It's like he write an essay for each post he makes. And he certainly has a lot of bars. I don't know about others, since I generally hang out in GARM. But leaving Bima out seems really weird. It's like a formula that doesn't include Chris Paul or Dirk in a list of top 100 NBA players.
+1. He's one of the top 3-4 most knowledgeable posters on this forum. EVERY single post is insightful. But maybe he posts in the GARM only. Most posters get their bars from the hangout posting dumb stuff.
Doesn't Bima have 9 bars with like only 4600 something post That's like the pound for pound best poster
If I understand the formula correctly, then my raw score at the time of the posting of this thread should've been 2245.6666 (repeating, of course) and I should've been ranked 87th. I await your apology. PS - posting in game threads really hurt my score. PPS - Bima Thug's raw score should be 215.185 which would easily put him in 1st. I think A_Ngyen's script just missed people for whatever reason.
BimaThug should be close to the top. aelliott and NIKEstrad are also quality posters. I miss some of the old quality posters like haven, rockHEAD, etc.
I would crack that 100, for sure. Anyways, I do agree with other posters in that most rep points come from the D&D and the hangout. I rarely post in the D&D. In fact, I have one post in that forum in probably the last three months, and received rep for it. As far as the GARM goes, I'm glad that rep points are more heavily weighed in the GARM. There is so much crap posted there, that you have to know who posts quality stuff (or institute the "I'll wait until it gets to 3 pages rule") just to know which threads to read. If you up the rep weight of that area, I think you'll simply get more trolls that are rep fishing.
I swear I saw a rockHEAD post a couple of days ago. It was just a little image post in a throw-away thread.
I think you'd be surprised with the D&D, the posting community in there is rather small, so you run into "must spread rep around" roadblocks quite often. And also, you don't tend to get lots of rep for being a stubborn partisan butth@le like most people think. You tend to get rep in there for being thoughtful and observant, and sometimes for roasting people who are anything but that.
i don't want to be on a list that would have me on it anyway. i did hear sactown tried to pay the op to be in the top 5. pathetic.
Why not have a poll . . then everyone can VOTE on who their favorite. . .er. . . who has the most quality posts. . .. Rocket River I LOL'd
I wonder how many of these posters in the top 100 are black!!!... Might explain the "actual factuals"
