Eh....Anyone that understands the game can tell you LeBron just isn't wired that way. He wants everything handed to him on a silver platter rather than earning it.

No way he would make it in the NFL. Too much hard work for him and no one can see your face with a helmet on.

Wow. I've never thought Steven A. Smith was right. What happened? The guy is spot on. Steven A. nailed it on the head...

Then again, I and a bunch of other people on the internet have been saying that for years...

So Stephen A Smith just admitted Skip is his daddy?

And why is ESPN so obsessed with Lebron James? He's on First Take literally every damn day lol.

I've said this before Lebron is exactly like Oscar Robertson, a stat sheet filler, an absolutely numbers monster but if he ever wins a championship (I think he probably will) it will come as a sidekick (like Oscar was to Kareem)

Lebron is a loser. Period. Even if he wins 4 rings. They will always be tainted b.c he left Cleveland to play with another top 3 player and a top 20 player. The fact that he's in commercials with his big smile when they are making fun of his claiming he will win not 6 but 7 rings makes it so much easier to laugh when he fails with his dream team.

Wade is the true leader of that team.

If that is the case, then you expect Lebron to win his first ring at the age of 34 or 35? Because that is when his game will decline to sidekick status.

The guy is going to win multiple rings. People just expect him to win faster b/c he is just so good.

He choked/underachieved so bad in the Finals that it was embarrassing. You never expect a great player like that to disappear so badly. But every criticism thrown at Lebron's way right now is appropriate. That was one of the most embarrassing display by a star basketball player in a long time.

But the guy is a hard-worker. He knows his glaring weakness (a post-game) and he worked on it this summer with arguably the most skilled post player in history, our own Hakeem. The guy is only freaking 26 years old. He still has at least 6-7 more years as a top 3 player in this league.

Nah, stephen a. goes too far here.

So you are not supposed to tell a joke because you didn't win the championship? Gimme a break.

Lebron is a douche at times, but losing a championship isn't the end of the world.

There is so much hate for this guy, it's like people want to make his life a living hell. I don't get it.

Who the hell cares about Lebron. Why do they keep talking about this dude? They are the ones who are building him up.

Well all he needs is Wade and Bosh to have the heart of a champion and then he can have the supporting skills of a champion to help those two guys out some.

Oh please, cry me a river about Lebron’s $44M a year “hell” of a life.

Lebron put himself under the microscope like this the second he made “The Decision.”

Stuff like “Coughgate”, his comments about not worrying what ordinary folk think of him, to now this telling upset NBA fans that he’s just going to join the NFL, all get blown up because HE decided to make himself the villain last summer.

I don’t feel sorry for him at all; he brought this upon himself. And he can bring it off himself somewhat by leading his team to a championship. Sure, some people will still talk about his tainted legacy and what not, but the hate would die down a lot.

It seems that at some point Lebron just gave up.

When Lebron came in, he really was awesome. And plus his team was built to showcase him similar to how the early 2000s Philly teams were built to showcase AI. Except Lebron had much better PR and hype from the media. In any case, Lebron literally could not have gotten more attention if he scripted out the future himself.

But at some point he apparently decided to screw it. He still want the world to revolve around him, but doesn't want to carry the load that comes with it. Specifically, he figured he doesn't want a defensive-oriented team that feature him as the star on offense. This is why he went from wanting to keep offensive r****ds like Varejo to asking for the likes of Amare.

So I do believe that Lebron once had it. He wanted to the glory and was willing to be the player that will get him that. But that was before he seemingly just quit on the Cavs.

What a pathetic argument by Stephen A. Smith. Her really went off topic. So let me get this straight, Lebron should walk around depressed all summer because of his disappointing playoffs? The man can't smile this summer because of his 4th quarter performance?

Anyway it was just a joke it wasn't that serious for Stephen A. Smith to react that way.

You completely misunderstood everything Stephen A Smith said. I suggest you watch it again.

    The truth is:

There are only 2 closers in the NBA today that deserved to be mentioned as approaching Jordan, Magic, Bird status and they are Kobe and DWade. The Heat are shooting themselves in the foot by going to Lebron in the 4th. That quarter should be reserved for Wade to do his thing until the opponent brings the triple to stop him and leaves Lebron wide open to dunk the ball.

The LeBron hate is strong. He took a 20 win team to 60+ wins. He has always been to the second round. He literally carried a team to the finals scoring 23 points in a row. Jordan, bird, and magic all played with multiple hofers when they won their champions.
