A new era has begun. Forget last week. Bottom line is we are in first place with 11 games left. We lost Mario, but we have everyone else. So enough with the self-flagellation. Time to look forward to an upset win in Baltimore.
yes sir. for once I'd like to see the Texans come out guns blazin for an entire game. for once, I'd like them to put a beat down on a tough opponent.
Yeah I was wrong on that point. Another thing I was wrong about was about the deep ball. Despite not having blazing speed it was amazing watching how many deep passes he caught in some of his highlight videos. Testament to running good routes and knowing how to make a play to go get the ball. We need someone with a bit of mojo on this team. Maybe he will the the Texan's version of Nyjer Morgan. Here's to seeing some Micheal Jackson kicks throughout the season and playoffs (D-Maz's TD dance).
I thought if you were placed on IR before the season starts, you could be taken off of it after the 6th or 8th week (i forget which week exactly). Am i just totally wrong on this? also, what was his injury anyway?
People actually b****ing about this move? Mason at this age is miles better than anything Jones will ever be. He runs routes better, has better hands and seems to take contact better by watching these highlights of him. Seems like he's gonna play with a chip on his shoulder, which usually gives guys extra motivation to be successful, something Jacoby seems to lack. Don't they call him Mr. Consistency because he averages like a thousand yds. a season? A classic case of a low risk/high reward move. Kudos to Ricky and Bobby. Worst case scenario he shows up and looks washed up and we just cut him. I mean we basically gave up a bag of chips for this dude.
I like the move, but some people's expectations are a bit much. Some saying he will only need to "be the 4th option" (true) or "maybe return kicks too" while others saying he imploded because Boldin was getting too many touches. I don't know the details / truth to why he's been run off a few places, but he doesn't sound like the type of guy who is going to be happy in those roles. Let's hope he has enough gas and sense to supplant JJ as a more viable receiving option, and that this role is enough to keep him from getting bent and pissing everyone off.
I think people are b****ing about an old guy with mood issues that was obtained for a conditional pick would actually help this team. This move is good not because Mason is good, but rather how much we suck at wide receiver.
Exactly.. After AJ, our only other decent threat is our TE. AJ can't do it all, and with him requiring so much of the Ds attention, it's a great move getting someone with good hands.
People are acting like we either gave up a lot for him or that were counting on Mason to be the future. There is no reason not to give this move a thumbs up.
