Everytime this team has gone into hurry-up under Schaub they've looked really good. That is why Kubiak doesn't like to do it.
You don't understand Kubiak's genius. When something works, they EXPECT us to do that. The key is to keep doing stuff that doesn't work, then we have the element of surprise!
The Ravens offense is nothing special. I think the Texans D can hold them under 20 points but to do that the Texans must avoid turnovers that'll give them excellent field position or defensive scores. The Texans are one ugly last play away from still being the number 1 seeded team in the AFC thanks to tie breakers. Sky ain't falling yet. Texans 20 Ravens 17

After watching how that D line of the raiders played against our o line again, I feel the ravens will look like the 2010 Texans' defense in comparison. Can't wait! * *it's not even thursday yet. =(
I think our O-Line will also play with a chip on its shoulder. Gotta protect Schaub better. We did a great job of that in the second half of last season's game against Baltimore.
I know he's playing for the bad guys this weekend, but I've got to admit: Ray Lewis is one of those NFL talents for which I have a ton of respect. Just so much drive, intensity, will-to-win, toughness, leadership. He's probably the greatest middle linebacker to ever play the game.
Texans 21 Ravens 20 Another nail-biter at the end, just like last year... ¡¡VAMOS, TEXANS!!!! It looks like he was saying to Lewis: "WATCH THIS!!! I'M GOING TO DROP A SURE TOUCHDOWN FROM SCHAUB AGAINST THE RAIDERS, B*TCH! "
I would guess that he considers hurry-up a gimmick. Same reason he doesn't use the end zone lob; he doesn't think he needs it to be successful.
For anyone who's still asking if Andre will play or not. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/...f-johnsonless-texans-20111012,0,6176823.story Looks like they learned their lesson with Foster's injury.

I've always respected and feared when we play against him because of his ability to knife through the offensive line.
So a bad thing happened when I woke up this morning. I woke up optimistic. I basically spent all week avoiding sports radio, sports shows, Espn, and any other medium regarding the Texans (minus this fabulous BBS of course....I'm not #65 for nothing, you know ) because I knew the ****storm that was brewing after the loss to the Raiders. I was about as down as anybody after that game, because it just seemed like this was a repeat of every other year in this franchise's history. We have a game that would announce our arrival to the rest of the league, and we not only lose it.....we lose it in a GUT-WRENCHING way. But then, this morning, when I opened my eyes after the first good night's sleep I've had in about a week.....I realized something. This team IS different. We have play-makers on defense. We have a defensive coach that actually KNOWS what he's doing. And, above all else, we have Arian freaking Foster. The Ravens might have the #2 run defense in the league right now, but they've played a BUNCH of teams who haven't run the ball worth anything this year. That will change this Sunday. And we will all be witnesses. We sacked Joe Flacco FIVE TIMES last year, when we were fielding the worst defense in the history of space and time itself....we WILL get to him again on Sunday. And now, we have a secondary that can take advantage of mistakes. And Joe Flacco makes a TON of them....especially when he's under pressure. We have 3 players in the defensive backfield that have multiple interceptions, and they are all difference makers. This game is why we brought guys like Johnathan Joseph and Danieal Manning in. I'm not guaranteeing a Texans win, but I will go so far as to change my prediction from earlier in the week.... Texans : 24 Ravens : 21 Folks, optimism is a dangerous thing, and I highly suggest you look away before you catch any of it from me.
Couple weeks ago when Baltimore was on SNF, Cris Collinsworth made a comment that the Ravens leave their linebackers on the field during passing situations. I could see Owen Daniels have a big day taking advantage of old man Lewis. I'm also expecting to see some passes to Arian Foster out in the flat. That should help relieve some of the blitz pressure for Schaub. Born in Houston, live in B-More. This Ravens team is just nasty (like always). Suggs, Lewis, Reed have made plays every game. Gotta slow that pass rush much better this week. I love the way Cush played last week. We are gonna need that fire from him again. The Ravens are feeling pretty good with Andre being out --he tore them up last year (9, 140, 2 TD)-- but don't seem as impacted by Mario being out. I am excited to see what Brooks Reed can bring. Dude is a 2nd-rounder; let's see what he's got. Schaub cannot make silly, costly mistakes again. I like him and think he's our guy. Let's see him step up like he did @ Green Bay a few years back. Feed Daniels, let Foster tote the rock. Oh yeah, and torch Pollard.
If the Oline doesnt get dominated again, there could be some big plays being had. If the above is true, that on top of pollard trying to cover is a plus for the texans. Unfortunately you have Ed roaming the seconardy so that's always a terrifying thought.
Ed Reed doesn't google pictures of Renee Olstead using a dildo when he has his special alone time, he googles pictures of Matt Schaub tossing underthrown ducks at the secondary.
