if you mean Fitzpatrick as noted above.. seems slightly valid. I would reject you every time. Turner > Mendy by a little bit.. but Fitzpatrick is bleh
i'm in a 14-team league and here is my best starting line up, bye week be damned: romo blount redman boldin vjax baldwin daniels akers bengals bench includes such stalwart as: j-stew doucet henderson little i'm going to trade boldin/stewart for lawfirm/burleson. thoughts? i hate 14 team leagues. never again.
I balked, but ultimately relented, when it was requested to expand my league to 12. It's thin now. I can't imagine with 14. Not sure who you mean by lawfirm?
benjarvus green-ellis. i tried to get rid of two people, but 13 wanted to come back, so we added another to get back to 14. didn't feel right kicking anyone out. to make up for it, we got rid of two rounds in the draft, so it's not as bad as it was last year. it's definitely made waiver wire pickups a lot more interesting.
Ah... I'm debating starting BJGE or Steven Jackson this week. Jax hasn't done much of anything to this point. However, NE is playing Dallas who has the #1 run d to this point. I'm leaning towards "lawfirm" as I have a feeling Dallas will concentrate more on stopping the pass and it could open up lanes.
my making this trade is just something to keep me interested in the season. there's no way i'm winning the league. really the only thing i'll have going for me is that my qb/wrs won't have bye weeks to deal with any longer. if doucet and baldwin and continue to produce like they did last week, maybe i'll have a shot to make the playoffs.
Sorry guys, shoulda been more specific, thanks for all the advice, I figured it'd be slighted a tad in my favor.
Wes Welker... I've got him. I'm thinking about trying to sell high on him, but I donno. I have a deep receving core: Jennings, Austin, Welker, Sidney Rice, Jordy Nelson, and a couple other fillers for bye weeks. 2WR slots, 1 RB, 2 Flex Only 'good' RB I have is Chris Johnson... notice I put 'good' in quotes. After that, I got Ryan Grant, Pierre Thomas. Weak. Should I sell high on Welker? I'm working on a couple deals with Rice and Nelson for a decent RB, but I doubt that will go through. If that doesn't work, should I try and sell high on Welker? If so, who should I be going for? McCoy, Ray Rice?
Nevermind about the trade I posted earlier. But... Should I start Ryan Torain vs Phi or Jahvid Best vs SF for Week 6?
Yeah, you have a lot of unnecessary depth at the WR spot... Who are the people in your league willing to give up for Welker? If you can get Rice or McCoy for him, that'd be a great deal for you.
Two things: Should I trade Beanie Wells for Jimmy Graham (my other RB's are better than Wells) Which two should I start: Desean Jackson @ Washington Brandon Marshall @ NYJ Victor Cruz vs. Buffalo
Yes you should trade Wells for Graham if your other RB's are better than Wells. As for who to start you should start Jackson and Cruz. Jackson is an auto start. Dolphins passing game is non-existent and Marshall is going to have Revis island on him. Victor Cruz is one of the hottest WR's out there right now. He's a must start.
Keep Bowe. You could get A LOT more for Bowe than Schaub. If Tebow is available in your league pick him up and trade Flacco instead or pick up Tebow and drop Sanchez. Bowe is a slower starter and he and Cassel are finally waking up. Bowe finished as a top 5 WR top 3 in some formats last year. He's starting to look like that again. My bold prediction.... Tebow will finish with more points than Flacco, Sanchez or Schaub all while playing 4.5 games less when this season is all said and done.
