No there won't. Qatar isn't Saudi Arabia. It's probably the most progressive country in the gulf outside of parts of the UAE. Unlike Saudi Arabia, Christian worship is openly sanctioned by the government there. Not to mention during the World Cup, no one will care.

I mean its clear there was a ton of corruption involved and that's a legitimate reason to get mad at Qatar getting the bid but don't go crazy over this.

Qatar did not deserve to get the cup, Fifa should only let free societies host.....don't give economic support to countries that supress their own people.

Where exactly do you see anyone saying they're ok with losses and lack of scoring?

Saying "looks like they're still trying to find some chemistry and who the best 20 are" does not say "it's ok to lose."

Lack of saying "we're OK with losses and lack of scoring" doesn't mean that you aren't. I also don't see anyone saying "we'll give JK five more games..." after these games. So how much longer is it going to be until you give JK enough time for him to institute his "new plan"? Seems to me like it should have already yielded results... no?

USA is playing in France today.

Don't think that France is bringing their A-Squad for this.

Not sure if/who Mexico is playing. Swoly?

Mexico plays Serbia in shock of shocks, a MEXICAN CITY!!!:)
(It seems like they play 90% of their friendlies in the U.S. each year)

France are bringing a full squad but Nasri pulled out injured. Malouda is also out.
I believe Loic Remy as well.

Hugo Lloris, Anthony Réveillère, Laurent Koscielny, Mamadou Sakho, Alou Diarra, Jréméy Ménez, Olivier Giroud, Franck Ribéry. Steve Mandanda, Mathieu Debuchy, Adil Rami, Jérémy Mathieu, Yan M'vila, Marvin Martin, Kévin Gameiro Karim Benzema

are all in the squad. Primarily the French 1st team bar the few missing players.

Yeah, what ferrarri said, it's in Querétaro's La Corregidora. Expect a blowout in this game at 8 on UNIVISION and deportes.univision.com .

Also, Landon pulled out *that's what HE said, we'll pick up that theme from the DYNAMO thread* of the U.S. squad to "concentrate" on the MLS Cup. No Donovan on the U.S.'s trip.

Game is at 2 p.m. CST. on ESPN and UNIVISION.

HOWARD! GREAT stop. Not a gol. Beauty of a stop. Keeping the EE.UU. in the game and Francia's attack honest.

Ribéry still plays? Isn't he like 23094830497234 years old?

Get Tim Chandler out. Altidore, Dempsey, Shea, etc all going forward...and he shoots from the sideline.

Dang. Nice run and finish by Remy. Caught Howard leaning near post.

US needs to push forward with more numbers and needs more out of the center of the field. Beckerman is fine, but he and Edu are both more defensive mids. With Dempsey all the way forward, there's no one to push through the middle.

Beasly still plays? Isn't he like 23094830497234 years old... but running circles around Mexican players??? ;)

There's no "finish" in the EE.UU. No "killer" instinct. At least Beckerman was trying from 30 yards out.

I was very impressed with Altidore's ability to hold up the ball as well as his strength in the box (Should have been a pk that one play). However he never had anyone to layoff to except for his nice backheel, which resulted in a nice scoring chance.

I will preface this by saying that I was unable to watch any of the match against France.

I realize we're still at the point where results technically don't matter, but jeez....at some point it would be nice if they could get some wins.

Exactly. Excellent analysis imo. He needed someone like Donovan to make runs off him. Jozy can play the lone striker but it's best for the U.S to partner him with someone.
