No. With the league on the offensive and negotiating only degrees of concessions from players and not even entertaining any notion of giving up anything new compared to the last CBA, I don't see a season as a possibility. The league wants to break the union. The union wants to show it's strong enough to endure the cancellation of the season.
I highly doubt that the majority of players have saved enough to miss an entire season worth of checks. I know they’ve been warned for a couple years to save for this scenario, but I doubt most of them have really done it. I think the players will crack after a few missed checks and we'll get basketball by January. (Still sucks).
I really thought there'd be a 50 game season...sometime in January. I don't believe that anymore. I agree with Thorpe's comments in that last link.
He's talking about the remote chance that they could squeeze those canceled games back into the season even if it's delayed. (Not going to happen).

who ever choose "don't care" is lying to them selves..i for one cant wait to the season to start..also i wouldn't care this much about the texans as i do if we had basketball right now.. that's for sure..
The ownes don't care, they are ok with sitting out a season. I am afraid we won't see NBA basketball this or next year
