Astros agree to one-year deals with hitting/pitching coaches

    The Houston Astros announced today that the club has agreed to terms on one-year contracts with hitting coach Mike Barnett and pitching coach Doug Brocail. The announcement was made by Astros General Manager Ed Wade.

    Following the 2010 season, the remaining staff members were signed to two-year contracts through the 2012 season: Dave Clark (third-base coach), Bobby Meacham (first-base coach), Al Pedrique (bench coach) and Jamie Quirk (bullpen coach). Astros Manager Brad Mills is signed through 2012, and the Astros hold an option on his contract for the 2013 season.[/rquoter]

    I am not sure if I am happy to have them back, but its good they are 1 year deals.
