Unfortunately this will probably go right over DD's head. FULL SPEED AHEAD ON THE DOO-DOO WAGON!!! *KABLOOEY*
What you don't see the correlation in 2010 showing exactly what I was talking about. CHOO CHOO DM, COUGAR HIGH BABY ! DD
Not yet he hasn't...he has managed to just go along, elevating means rising above it. Schaub has not lead this team anywhere...... DD
Frederick Douglass once said "Without any setbacks , there is no progress"... True he didnt mean 5 years of the SOS... So with that being said.. We stuck with him so lets deal with it
Yeah, I realize that but he is frustrating to watch. I am not sure I have seen a less athletic QB ever.....which I was ok with until this year, when he started bailing out and throwing off his back foot, when there was no need for it..... When he stands strong (well for him) he has good accuracy.....unfortunately he gets a lot of balls batted down, and doesn't slide in the pocket....which further limits him. DD
Matt Schaub for the first five weeks: 1st half: 62-91 (68%), 828 yd, 6 TD, 2 INT, 109 QBR 2nd half: 36-73 (49%), 549 yd, 3 TD, 3 INT, 71 QBR 4th Q: 23-47 (49%), 332 yd, 3 TD, 3 INT, 67 QBR Maybe it's him, maybe it's the playcalling, but something needs to nut up.
As much as I support Schaub and defend him being a top 10 QB, the dude is a p***y when it comes to getting touched. Ive never seen a QB drop so easily when a finger touches him. Its like watching WWE.
This means... 3rd Q: 13-26 (50%), 217 yd, 0 TD, 0 INT, Which actually bothers me even more. It means the gas is firmly on the break in the 3rd quarter in a season where the Texans have had a lead at halftime in every game.
Funny. Against NO when he fell to the ground holding his head at the end of the game where it looked like anyone barely touched him, my dad was screaming "get u p****".
The helmet speaker malfunctioned and the volume was turned to the max, that's why he was holding his head
Well, I have always been underwhelmed with Schaub. He has his moments, we have all seen him make the beautiful throws and we have also witnessed the wounded ducks. His numbers are all over the place. He has zero charisma. He obviously has skills. He went to the Pro Bowl and won the MVP, so it is not like he is below par. I just don't have much confidence in him in the tight places. He is middle of the pack, O.K. just not great. I just don't see him inspiring the team or the fans.
What team did Peyton Manning carry all by himself to the promised land? The one with Edgerrin James/Joseph Addai in their primes, Marvin Harrison, Reggie Wayne, Dallas Clark, Dwight Freeney, Robert Mathis, (when healthy) Bob Sanders - *that* team? I'm learning to let most of the Schaub hatred roll because, ultimately - what's the point? But when you (not "you," specifically, conquistador) start condemning a QB because he can't win without a great supporting cast, you are literally scraping the bottom of a dried barrel full of ignorance. *Every* QB needs a good supporting cast. There's not a single one that doesn't. None. They ALL need good players aorund them and good coaches on the sideline. Find me one that didn't. (Even Baby Vince had 3 other first rounders on that team - it was loaded, too.)
