I didn't realize hitting WR's in stride at 40 or 45 yards through the air consistently in games is a new benchmark for good QBs

    What in the hell...seriously

How about one that can stand up against a 5mph gust of wind as a defenders hand grazes his jersey?

I know right. If Schaub only had enough arm strength to throw against the wind he might get to like 3,000 yards on a season or so.

Lots of QBs on losing teams throw for 3000 yards, playing against the prevent defense makes stats like that meaningless.

Rosenfels was the master of throwing against the prevent defense... He used this skill to start a QB controversy ,in which most fans on here, have amnesia about wanting him to be the man here...

Exactly.....it is funny to think 3000 yds is any measuring stick of a good QB.

Didnt VInny Testevarde throw for 50,000 yards... Was he a top 10 quarterback at any point in his career ?

Exactly...it is funny that you didn't catch the sarcasm.

Schaub has thrown for 4,000+ (almost 5,000 once) the past two seasons. The idea that his arm is the weakest in the world and it can't hold up against wind is hilarious.

I expect such silliness to be proposed by DaDakota but not from you...oh wait. Dagnabbit I did it again!

He totaled around 46,000. He also never threw for 4700 yards which Schaub did.

But, this wasn't a question of whether Schaub was a top 10 QB. The issue being discussed was his girly arm. It's overstated.

Sorry, I was not talking about his arm strength, genius, not surprised you missed that point all together....in your haste to make a snide comment.

    I think you're overreaching.

I too have concerns about Schaub...but are you suggesting he's not a good quarterback?

I think very clearly he's good. Very clearly.

You are correct. Upon rereading your post you were talking about Schaub's unbelievable clumsiness. I retract my snideness, apologize, and agree with you on the limited scope that he is clumsy.

I disagree still with the overall tone that seems to be emerging in the fanbase that he isn't good. You'll miss him when he's gone if he gets replaced with one of the scrubs this league generates over and over.

I think he is average to good....

He needs a great team around him to be successful, I don't find him anything special.

He is WAAAAY better than Carr, but he reminds me of Gifford Nielsen without the brains.....

Apology accepted, and I agree, while he may not be great, he is good enough if he is surrounded by quality play all over the field.

He is not good enough to elevate his team or teamates.

Those would be impossible to take, no human being could stand up against natures 10mph furry !!!

PS. I find it incredibly ironic that everything people are seeing about Schaub I was blasted for 2 years ago...the guy is exactly as I said.....thank you very much !!!
