The Jets offensive line is atrocious, and I think Duane Brown SHOULD be able to handle him somewhat. However, regardless of the outcome, I think we are ALL going to end up losers in this game for having to listen to Professor Dumbledorf spew for 3 hours about how Joe Flacco has a golden legs, and a canon for an arm, and how his pocket awareness is what allows him to throw for 215 yards and an interception on 53% completion.
I'm guessing Brown will be tasked more with Suggs, rather than Ngata. It will be up to Wade Smith, mostly.
Baltimore 31 Texans 13 Baltimore on the road is tough for us anytime, but .... considering the Mario injury and AJ's status ....
agreed ... 6-0 against the AFC South + wins at Miami and Pittsburgh = playoffs(less pressure)= 1st round upset = Kubiak contract renewal = never mind, this wasnt a good equation
I wouldn't worry about that. Sage did the same thing last year when we played the giants, and.... Oh ****, we're ****ed.
Logically, Team Disappointment gets creamed, but they are also Team Unpredictable. For no other defensible reason I am picking the Texans to win in a shocker. I still say our defense is going to play well without Mario and our offense will rebound. Should be a low scoring affair, probably who kicks the most field goals. 12-9 Texans.
He meets Ray Lewis 40 of those times... Injury to Foster waiting to happen or Eddie George meets Ray Lewis II
Sage outbattled Gary on the battlefield last year, and now Gary's gonna have to battle up a new way to outbattle Vonta the Battler. Ugh, I think I just battled myself into a headache. Ravens : 27 Texans : 17
Hope Andre somehow comes back for this game. Our offense looks ****ty as is... and against a great defense like this with Ngata, Suggs, Lewis, and Reed... we don't stand a chance to win if we can't execute our offense without unforced mistakes. We'll need at least 120 yds out of Foster. Their offense is pretty limited also, though they find ways to put up points... Even without Mario, we can still pass rush effectively with the personnel that we have. Hope we can reedem ourselves for the last game... 3-3 sounds bitter.
Good news: "Coach Gary Kubiak took a "we'll see" approach on the status of WR Andre Johnson for Sunday's game at the Ravens. Kubiak said the soreness of Johnson's right hamstring has gone away and that his rehab has picked up. Johnson caught nine passes for 140 yards and two scores in last year's meeting against the Ravens." If it was my decision I would hold him out just in case.
Pleeease hold him out. No sense in running him out there and having him get hurt just in time for divisional games when we're going to get slaughtered anyway. He needs to be healthy for Courtland Finnegan Round 2.
