The clear implication of the tweet was that this was the responsibility of Texas Tech fans or students. Texas Tech has conducted an investigation regarding this allegation, and has discovered the following: •The buses were not spray painted. Instead, washable shoe polish was used on the windows of one of the buses. •No feces were found either in or on the buses. Fish bait was dropped onto the floor of one of the buses. •The alleged "vandalism" was cleaned by the bus drivers and Holiday Inn staff before it was seen by the A&M official who tweeted the information. While incidents such as the ones alleged are inappropriate and strongly condemned by Texas Tech, it is no less wrong to condemn the entirety of our university, students and supporters by posting inaccurate information on the internet for the purpose of sensationalizing the actions of one or a very few. We are disturbed by the careless use of social media to share these inaccuracies.
Leave it to the tech administration to defend this. If this would've taken place at any place save for Tech (and Faylor), you best believe the administration would've issued an apology and that they're looking for who is responsible for this crap. Tard and bible tard, however, aren't everybody else. They have to earn the classless label.
Why wouldn't they defend it? Tech clearly said that they don't condemn the actions, but that they're offended that the AD tweeted what he did..And IMO, if he didn't even see the pictures or wasn't there, he had no business tweeting that or putting "classy" at the end of it. That was clearly a cheap shot. Noones saying he played a prank, at least I'm not saying that, but I do think he started something big out of nothing..At first it sounded like someone $*#@'d up the bus really bad with manure/spray paint all over it..Clearly, that isn't the case. I'm pretty sure the reason behind no police report for the "vandalism" because it was probably not even big enough to be considered vandalism. A few TT logos with shoe polish is pretty easy to clean.

aggies are an absolute embarassment to this state. on one hand we are finally getting rid of the them, but on the other hand, they are just going to embarass the state on a bigger stage
On the one hand, most athletic conferences are in no way aligned with a single political or geographical entity. On the other hand, A&M has been physically located in the state of Texas for its entire existence.

If the AD never saw the mess and passed along misinformation through official social media, and it turns out to be way overblown, then he deserves a lot of flack for his lack of professionalism.

Byrne has a college student mentality. The guy actually responds to critical emails and phone calls. I'm down with the tweets. If Knight can throw chairs and Leach can lock little boys in a sex closet then Byrne can embellish a tweet.

God, I love the responses in here. "Oh, so it wasn't spray paint and s**t, it was just shoe polish(that somebody had to clean off) and foul smelling fish bait. How dare the Aggies even mention this incident." If this had happened to UT, it would have been a much bigger thread on here.
I completely agree that the vandals are still terrible; I just think Byrne was being immature if he jumped on inaccurate information. Just because Knight and Leach were unprofessional, doesn't mean their attitudes should be emulated. And I'm shocked by that article...not even being sarcastic. I've never seen a glory hole on campus and I've probably spent more time on that campus than 99% of all students. That's crazy stuff.
It's ok, we have to learn how to cope with the penis envy and butthurt of tard, bibletard, whorn, coog high fan, and maybe even poor owl texxx now that we are the only university in the great state of Texas that is a member of the premier athletic conference in the land.
