Ah that kinda sucks. I was thinking about switching to Verizon for the LTE but I can't do much with a cap since unlimited doesn't exist anymore.
So I don't know much about phones. My ATT contract is coming up to expire in a few months and they're already offering me those discounted prices on phones in order for me to sign a new 2-year agreement. Free iPhone 3gs, $199 for the new iphone 4gs and whatnot. I pretty much want a badass looking phone, that can shoot a great video, comparably of course, and can play my music. Should I stick with my iphone 3gs, upgrade to the new iphone, get a windows phone, nexus? I have no idea
Like to keep it under $350, I'm sure that wouldn't be hard with any discount ATT would give me to renew my contract. Although with not much looking into it, the Galaxy seems like it would cost me a little more than that.
Specs from what I understand on this phone look like it should be worth the wait. Do we have any idea on a price range for it yet?
I would think the other phones will get updated. Idk about the MyTouch 4G, but a good amount of phones from 2010 and 2011 will be updated. How fast? That'll be up to the brand of the phone. Motorola and Samsung are usually slower than HTC in updating.
That's correct, however at Google I/O they announced an alliance towards faster updates. Samsung, HTC, LG, and Motorola included. I'm sure there were others but I might be missing them. With that being said though, the Nexus Series has always been first to receive major updates so that should be good for this device. Though I don't know if the CDMA and GSM versions will update simultaneously
Here are the wallpapers from ICS http://dl.dropbox.com/u/28393515/ICSWallpapers.apk http://www.droid-life.com/2011/10/10/galaxy-nexus-wallpapers-released-packaged-up-in-handy-app/ Enjoy!
Yet another phone to wait for? Motorola Spyder to be announced October 18 http://www.engadget.com/2011/10/10/motorola-spyder-to-be-introduced-on-october-18-keeps-its-clothe/ It has LTE, with a first-of-its-kind 4.3-inch, 960 x 540 qHD Super AMOLED display
Funny, I was just about to post that. I like Motorola's build quality, but as a developer "F*** MOTOROLA" If the bootloader is unlocked then I'll think about it just due to the qHD Amoled Screen. My decision also might depend on the size of the battery. As of now though, I'd ready for the Nexus
I use Tiny Flashlight + LED by Nikolay Ananiev. His app includes several widges to choose from. I use ADW Ex Launcher, with the honeycomb theme, and I replaced the bottom icons with the icons from the "Black Sense" ADW theme
