i agree that it stings. But if he runs and doesnt make it, then we'd still not be happy and people would still call for his head. Lets be accurate, schaub can't run for dog poo and he had a guy closing on him with a head of steam...schaub isnt going to dodge that bullet.

The safety had a bead him so once he saw that i'm sure he wanted to get the ball out of his hands as quick as possible to hopefully have another play. He say Jacoby with one on one coverage briefly and threw it where he thought JJ was going. miscommunication.

Like we said...a game of a bunch of what ifs

New Orleans was an excusable loss; this isn't.

The good news is the Titans lost, and we're still in the drivers seat for the division.

3-3 heading into week 7 will be very manageable.

I hope we get another crack at the Raiders in the playoffs and break their orbital bones.

i agree for the most part. I was still expecting a open backfield with the time situation, but i was thinking 2 plays. 1 incomplete and with 1 scond left a little dump off in the middle from a bunch formation

Looking back at the last play, by the time matt got by the line there was one Raiders player out of the end zone and knowing matt's lack of speed and athleticism, he would've defiantly been stopped.

That guy came out quick didn't he... I was watching it again with that angle after the pump fake Matt MAYBE could have stretched to the pylon. I think he would have had it. Probably something even more frustrating would have happened. I'm about 75% sure he would have tripped over a lawn gnome or a garden hose.

Bull****. No way Schaub makes it. If he tries to run and fails, then everybody would be in here b****ing about why he decided to run it when he knows he's a leadfoot and how they'd rather see him at least attempting a pass instead of trying to run it in when he had no chance.

Tbh, that was my first reaction to the replay. No way he makes it. My emotions are all over the place right now.

    Especially with Mario's uncertainty.

So far, we're 3-1 in games we should've won and 0-1 in games we should've lost. If the Texans are actually a good team and not just pretenders, they have to make up for it by winning a game they should lose.

Just git home from the game. Have never heard an entire stadium turn on Matt like it did today. The guy just doesn't have what it takes. Hope he proves me wrong.

I know the situation would make running seem crazy, but we simply needed to put Schaub in space. He needed options, run, pass, or throw it away ASAP. That was the best way to to achieve that. Unfortunately Matt ended up running on a non-designed run, and it ate up too much time.

Vickers should be happy that fans are stupid enough to believe one guy cost them this game and it's not him.

Schaub has many physical limitations and makes bad decisions frequently but we will have to live with it because no viable alternative is in sight. He was also pretty beat up prior to the last play by the pounding he took from Oakland's D-line. He is still a pretty good QB overall. The O-line flustered as they couldn't protect for Schaub or create holes for Foster. Vickers miscue was straight up inexcusable... he should get the most blame. Myers' bad snap and Rackers missed field goal certainly didn't help... collective fail on the Texans part.

Guys on 610 are basically saying that Mario could be done for the season.
