Speed, Strength, Dunk, Vertical, Quickness. Speed + Quickness helps you blow by people, vertical helps you jump over people, dunk helps you actually initiate the dunk, and strength is probably going to help you fight through contact.
Playing My Player as a PF.......and I got drafted by the Rockets. It's highly realistic aka. frustrating. Martin seems to not know what defense is, T-Will goes one on one all the freaking time, and Flynn ( Lowry got injured) is also a moron. And we have Scola or Patterson playing center, so yay. Currently 4-7, and have lost 6 in a row.
Within three games everyone on the Houston Rockets got traded away. Hayes, Flynn and I are the only remaining original players on the team... wtf. Lol. PG: Jonny Flynn, DJ Augustine SG: Jamal Crawford, Me SF: Paul George, Corey Maggette PF: Some random garbage player C: Chuck Hayes I had to score 82 points to beat the Dallas Mavericks. And we only won by five points.
My player is frustrating with the small details. You can never skim over halftime report, all the damn ads for future games. I mean it is cool at first, but when it gets going, you want to be able to skip through that stuff and the load times seem longer too. So there are small annoyances, but the mode is cool that is for sure.
i seem to have gotten it max. while dribbling not directly towards the goal (like try starting at the top of the screen and dribbling down so you're dribbling parallel to the goal) you rotate the right stick in a circle. if you hold it he will dream shake and then go into the fadeaway.if you let go after the first fake he will fake the shot also and then you can move the right stick again to make it an up and under

I am a PG on the pistons, drafted 8th I think. I start out behind stuckey and bynum, work my way up, by playoffs I am 6th man to Andre Miller who they traded for. Next season I get moved upto starting PG, tear it up, keep getting more minutes as starting pg, but the team is making all these odd trades. I am in the starting with 38 minutes, but for some reason they traded for Jameer Nelson, Louis Williams, and Aaron brooks who all sit on the bench behind me pissed off.... I do wonder in testing how they overlook this crap has anyone bought one of those legend training camps on My player, what does it give?
Trade logic on the game is one of the biggest flaws for sure. I was drafted onto Philly, and within the first 2 months we got rid of Iggy and Brand and now have Josh Smith, Kevin Love and someone else who shouldnt have been anywhere close to equal value. I'm assuming patch'll be out soon to clear it up. I did my first PS3 dreamshake the other night, when I took Hakeem and the Rockets past the Nugs. For you PS3 dreamshake virgins, I believe it goes as follows: 1) Back down your man in the post, using (^) triangle to post up. 2) While backing him down, hold your (L) joystick to the right, then pull the (R) joystick left and then back right. This should make Dream fake left and come back right. With all the shot branching variations, you can turn that end result into a jump hook, up and under or a fadeaway. Just depends on what you do after you bring that (R) joystick back right again. It's beautiful.
Gameplay is like 9.5, superb animations and details. 3pt% is way too high, especially when you playin My Player, CPU is lightin you up. Trade logic is retarted in a way you couldnt've imagined. Online is a mess right now, big lag and connection errors. If you only care about gameplay this game is the best sports game ever, but the 3pt% and trades can really kill the experience. Also wouldn't recommend buying it right now if you only play Online.
