I've never see a moth this big. Just took this picture. Is this common? {in before a stupid Swoly post}
DUH. Of course, it is. It's BIG, and it's weird. AND it scares you. NOT fast enough (that's what SHE said). And what the hell kind of coin is that? Nickel? Dime? Quarter? "OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG!!!! It's BIGGER THAN A DIME!!! AHHHH!!!!!"
Meet your MOTH... the one from SILENCE OF THE LAMBS... Except it's called "Sexy girl in a very, very small bikini"...
Go to the HMNS butterfly exhibit and look at the ones they have pinned up there, then come back and tell me if you still think that's big.
FIXED. Use of "conocer" is so underrated. Also, it looks like a QUARTER to me. He would have made everyone's life easier had he used a penny instead.
I thought saber was used when talking about facts ans conocer was used when talking about people or places. Although in this case I guess "monedas" is in the same form as a 3rd person person.

You might be right about that, but I believe in this case, we're talking about "being acquainted with coins" instead of just "knowing coins." I just used conocer when it seemed proper to me... "saber monedas de los EE.UU. " wouldn't sound right to me, a native speaker, but "saber de las monedas de los EE.UU." would.
Seeing as you have much more experience with Spainsh then I do, I'll take your word for it. Saber de las monedas de los EE. UU. does seem to make sense when you break it down. Thanks!
