t-will can hardly hit a jumper or even dribble. why is he talented, because he can run faster and jump higher?

rockets should have drafted carl lewis when they had the chance...

*based on his performance with the rockets (the only team that matters)

i don't care what he did in college against other scrubby college players.

Discipline and mental maturity are an essential part of being an NBA player or in general, a professional employer of any company.

Some players took time getting that mental aspect of their game like Artest and Rodman, some crashed and burned like Francis and the Rashad McCant's of the world.

Even if Williams is a better player physically than a guy like Budinger, he won't have that same success because he hasn't adjusted his mentality, and seeing by these videos, T-Will hasn't been humbled at all. Shame, this kid could be an Andre Iguodala like player but he doesn't have it between the ears.

I'll take a guy like Scola over a more talented guy like Andre Blatche.

Man, I disagree with that a ton, CBud is way better than Williams.

CBud knows how to play the team game, get to open space, and play within the flow of an offense.

He rebounds pretty well, passes ok, shoots well, defends......well...maybe not defends...

Go to the front page and look at Bud's stats in the last game the Rox played:

    35pts 6rb 4assist.

    That is pretty danged good.

TWill can't do that without dominating the ball, and he is not a good enough shooter or player to do that...he is a poor man's Tyreke Evans....

CBud is a better player because he understands how to play the game, Twill is a wannabe player at this point.

Even worse, Twill is a wannabe player that already thinks he's MJ.

Great point, one of the worst things a player can be is one that thinks he is better than he really is....

We have all been at the gym where you get on that ball hogs team who thinks he is better than everyone else, and never wins because of it.

He may be more athletic, but the guy just never gets it, and blames everyone else for his own shortcomings.

    That is Twill.

Bud is definitely a better player than TWill at this point.

Bud is a better contributor than Twill for the team right now, though Bud himself is still a huge deadweight. He has some good games, but more often than not, I want his ass shipped out.

T Will has no discipline, Bud has no Heart.

Let's hope Morris can handle the 3 so he can replace them both.

If Morris can beat out Bud, that would be great for the team.

Let's hope he can. Bud's inconsistent shot and a complete lack of defense really pisses me off.

Those "good" games were against bad defensive teams that did not cover him at all. The only game he did good against a good defensive team that I can recall was against the Spurs. Go ahead and take a look at his game logs. His "good games" came against the Pacers, Kings, Cavs, Nets, Bobcats, Spurs, Clippers, Wolves, Heat, and 76'ers. Heat is a good team, but I remember that game and they barely covered him. On teams that actually are known for their perimeter D, Budinger sucked it up every single one of those games. Take a look at his game log and check how many times he blanks it from outside against good defensive teams.

Here is the thing about Budinger. He is an off the ball shooter. On a moving offense like the Rockets, he should be getting around 15 points a game as a shooter. Also, it is not really how frequent he misses IMHO, but WHEN he misses. The guy even after we shipped off Battier missed a bunch of wide open threes that he NEEDS to can as a shooter. When all that you can offer the NBA is shooting, he cannot afford to miss that much considering how crappy he is on the other end.

Come on you know he wasn't up against good competition.

I do remember he dropped 30 + points after Shane was traded, but that was against the worse team in the league.

Bud lacks toughness, he can take advantage of weaker teams but if he was up against people who actually pay attention on defense... say Lebron or even Durant... Bud would get shut down so bad and get his confidence destroyed if he tries to play D.

Bud is weak, he lacks mental toughness. He isn't someone you can rely on in the playoffs.

Bud reminds me of Luther Head

Bud was only inconsistent for a short while. He started to really pick it up towards the end of the season. His defense even got a little better. Still, i think Williams(if he has his head on straight) will get the start.

I think off the top of my head:

    14pts 5boards and 2.5 assists.

I could say the part in bold about T-Will.

T-Will is not very consistent, right now is a deadweight.
