I have both in one league, but that trade sounds interesting, maybe its just a lateral trade, since jags has to pass the ball because they are down on the scoreboard, but I stilll think MJD has a little bit more upside, so I would do the trade.
I have witten but he is on his bye week, which one should I pick up: Jermaine Gresham (CIN) against JAX or Brandon Pettigrew (DET) against CHI
Gresham ftw I got offered this deal: I give J.Nelson for J.Starks Should i make the deal? I'm intrigued but i don't see potential. Anybody care to elaborate, please
Not surprising, the guy wants to cash in on the A-train express. With Aaron Rodgers being the goal line back, the guy wants to trade a guy that is rarely going to get pay dirt for a guy that is a threat to have 1 or more every week. I'd be all kind of laughing at this guy.
Brandon is playing really good and has been lost in the fantasy shuffle with CJ taking all the shine in DET. I'd play him this week cause that Chicago defense is more than likely going to attempt to double cover Calvin and get to Stafford as much as possible. He should have a great game and I'm surprised he's even available in your leage.
I had the same choices for this week, and took Pettigrew. The Bears have given up the most points to TEs this season, though it has been against Gonzalez, Finley, Olsen, and Graham.
Not unless you are stacked at WR, and desperate for a RB. As long as Grant is healthy, he is splitting carries, and still has to deal with TD vultures Rodgers and Kuhn.
Thanks! I think I'm going to see if I can get Jimmy Graham too. FJ + Dustin Keller for MJD and Graham
If you add Jimmy and Dustin it looks like the trade would actually be slighted in your favor, I wouldn't accept that trade personally.
Chicago uses a Cover 2 defense which opens the middle of the field. Pettigrew could be a top 5 TE this week.
How is this even a question? Philly can't stop the run (or catches out of the backfield). Despite being up for a majority of every game, they have the 3rd worst rush defense in the NFL.
Beanie has been quietly running very well, if this was a PPR it would be Fred no question. But last 3 people I've asked have said Fred, going with him.
I love Beanie Wells, and if the matchups were reversed I would go with him. Both have just been ridiculous this season.
Jared Cook @ Pitt or Scott Chandler v. Philly. PPR. I have Chandler right now and am not too worried about getting a win this week. What I'm wondering is if Cook may be a viable flex option long-term with Britt out. If not, I'll just be using one of these guys this week and dropping him. I have Witten on bye. Also, amazingly, Chandler and Cook are about even in targets this year, mostly based on Cook's game last week.
On my Daryl Morey swag at the moment. Just rebuilt my whole team. Players picked up -Cam Newton -Steve Smith -Beanie Wells -Sam Bradford Players given up -Ryan Fitzpatrick -Steve Johnson -Peyton Hillis -Matt Schaub -Brandon Jacobs What do yall think did I make my team better or worse?
Here's my (partial) lineup RB McFadden RB Mathews WR Wallace WR -- RB/WR -- I have four players to choose from for those two slots... Marques Colston @Car Julio Jones vsGB Sidney Rice @NYG Deion Branch vsNYJ I'm leaning towards the first two right now but any and all opinions are welcome thanks!
You lost, big time. Schaub and Fitz would be fine matchup plays, Johnson and Smith are basically a wash, Hillis and Jacobs trounce Beanie, and Bradford is basically dead weight... you not only gave up quality, but you gave up depth, too. You better hope to god that Carolina goes apes**t.
