For the love of all things Clutch, PLEASE quit asking for links in the game threads!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's extremely annoying.
Clutch, we need a post-game thread for the Texans. It's a pain trying to find where the input from the game starts.
Official Threads will be later in the week now. One of the issues with the old forum set up was that starting the thread on Tuesday led to pages and pages of non game talk. Hopefully starting it later in the week leads to more threads discussing non game specific information and also keep the game thread to thinga specific to the game.
This is awesome. So nice to have a forum just for the Texans that isn't littered with boring Astro threads.
Don't see how that's better than having Texans and Steelers discussion in the Saints game thread. People are pumped. This is the season Andre carries Houston to the playoffs. And the fans want to discuss the upcoming game and all things related to it - such as the questionable Steelers O-line etc. Don't deprive the people of the oxygen they need to survive.
Should be a game thread by Wednesday morning. Sports radio turns heavily toward the next game on the schedule by now and we want to talk about it here too. If not you'll get the opposite problem...threads started mid week that lead to game talk instead of the subject that the OP started with.
This new sub forum has the ability to surpass even TexansTalk. If for example you see their game day thread against the Steelers, the Clutchfans thread on the game has 100 more posts than even the one on TexansTalk. Great power move by Clutch to become the one stop shop for Houston sports discussion.
Eh, don't know about that. TexansTalk is still an entire forum dedicated to the Texans. I'd guess they have more season ticket holders on there because of that and the gameday threads for home games are smaller than the away games. This is just one subforum on a Rockets fan site. It was a great idea to give the Texans their own section.
