On Google Music, it'll be cached. Btw, Google Music is also available on iOS so I'm not trying to say Android is better.(well, im lying, yes i am)
Talk about a let down... So I guess I'm sticking with Windows Phone... I really think Apple dragged their feet this time. I felt shafted going from the 3g to the 3gs and I wasn't too overly wowed by the 4, so what drives me to go to a 4s? I'll stick with my HD7s and hope Nokia puts out a great phone...
Right, but that's still another level from 4 to 4S, and he's going from 3GS to 4S. Even in just going from the 4 to 4S, you'd get single core to dual core, better HSPA, 1080p video recording, 5mp to 8mp camera with stablization, Siri integration, etc. etc. Then you throw in the speed bump from the 3GS, the higher resolution screen, front facing camera, and so on. Going from 3GS to 4 or 4 to 4S is certainly debatable for most people, but combining the two is a generation jump IMO.
Pfft. I didn't wait. After almost 3.5 years, I finally replaced my sluggish iPhone 3G with an Android this past Sunday. I didn't care what the hell Apple released today after that debacle of an "upgrade" for 3G users called iOS 4. I may come back to Apple, but for my purposes/needs, Apple didn't hold any kind of advantage over the best Android phones out now.
free publicity and marketing.. gets everyone on the net/message boards talking. I'd say its very SMART for apple to hold a event.
What did people expect? Are people seriously disappointed over this? I don't even like Apple and think this is pretty legit. Looks like a nice upgrade. Screen size may be small but the screen on the original iPhone is very highly acclaimed (and looks better than almost everything else on the market). Compare an iPad 1 and an iPad 2 (I hae both in my household)- the iPad 2 completely blows it out of the water. Expecting the same out of this refresh.
People's expectations were too high, maybe because it was held in the fall instead of summer as it usual is. Samsung's Super AMOLED Plus display is the best, with the iPhone's in 2nd.
Mainly because they were doing upgrades every year and this time went 1.5 years and only half an upgrade. Plus people felt they needed to do something since they have a lot more competitors now.
Legit? The Galaxy S II which was released international about half a year ago is just as good if not better then this supposed upgrade.
so what will the network speeds be like for the 4s on the different carriers. same for everyone or will one be better than the other I think people are disappointed because the hype built up pretty high all summer. Whether it was media driven or whatever doesn't matter. Apple surely is paying attention and could of leaked stuff to keep the hype from going over the top.
I would say AT&T's HSPA+. It really depends on where you're at with AT&T's since it's very inconsistent but I would expect to see around 10-12 mbps in a good coverage area.
