Going into that draft, I thought he was absolute garbage. Alex Smith is basically what I expected. I thought he would never even play once he was drafted by the Packers. I was wrong. So very wrong.
He probably would have turned into Alex Smith if he was drafted by the 49ers. 49ers have gone through two incompetent defensive minded coaches and 8 or so offensive coordinators during Alex Smiths tenure. Its rather ironic that Mike McCarthy was the 49ers offensive coordinator when both QBs were drafted and he choose Smith over Rodgers.
Wrong decision. Don't start QBs against the Bengals. Unless they're named Rodgers or Brady, of course. That defense is good. I gladly started Newton over Romo this week and it paid off. Handsomely.
thats what i was wondering. everything i've read it says its just pulled for tonights game. nothing long term
Damn I was a girl I put it all on the Colts +10.5, even though I was talked into putting it on Colts straight up.
Ugh...hate to see that to anyone....seeing the players reaction immediately just shows how fragile these guys really are deep down. Hope he recovers.
In the college/international forum, there's a video of a basketball player that had the same looking injury. Look at that for an example. Hope he can continue his career one day. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=208425
Is Tampa offense all dink and dunk over the middle? I watched the Vikings game and it looked like they did some play action stuff, but it's a strong indicator of what the play will be based on the tailback they use: Blount or Graham.
I'll rep myself. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/B_mx0TuCQQk" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Holy ****. Snapped like a pretzel.

Seeing him keep his footing on that 3rd and 5 and diving for the first down was a thing of beauty. Followed up by a terrific run and stretch from Blount. 4th quarter Buc football is always a must watch no matter the opponent.
