So because we don't agree with you, we're unintelligent? Nice logic. It's still up in the air as to who the best receiver is... it's really 1a. and 1b. with AJ and CJ.
Been a huge fan of Calvin Johnson since he was a freshman at GT. And while his route running is nowhere near as polished as AJ80, Megatron more than makes up for it by making bad quarterbacks look decent with circus catches like: <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/wXRqyjzyBRg" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
40yd dash Strength* Weight Calvin 4.35secs 29reps 243Lbs Andre 4.41secs 17reps 229Lbs *225 Bench Reps
Player A 8 / 160yds 2TD 7 / 81 yds 16 / 217yds 2TD 9 / 158yds 1TD Player B 7 / 95yds 1TD 7 / 93yds 1TD 7 / 128yds Player C 3 / 62yds 7/ 133yds 1TD 5 / 64yds 1 TD 8 / 102yds Player D 6 / 88yds 2TD 3 / 29yds 2TD 7 / 108yds 2TD 8 / 96yds 2TD
Yards per catch goes in order C, A, B, D. Player A is 5'9 Player B is 6'3 Player C is 6'3 Player D is 6'5 First 4 games this season to me there's no doubt that Player A is tops in the league.
Welker has been the most productive. Andre has been the most consistent, until he got hurt yesterday I assume this is Fitz? Solid, but behind everyone else Calvin looks like the best player
According to the MNF bros, Welker was 2nd in the league last year in dropped passes. Figured he was more sure handed than that. Especially since most of his catches aren't down the field.
I wonder who was first? I wouldn't put to much stock in it I believe T O lead the league a few times....
Hes definitely elite if he keeps near this pace up for the rest of the year it will be hard not to say hes the best.
Welke is system receiver. Plus he is a slot receiver. It is hard tp say he is anywhere near the best when he never faces elite CBs (because he is in the slot).
Credit to Welker, he works his butt off and gets every ounce out of his ability, but anybody who says he's the best in the NFL needs to be slapped upside the head with a case of raider rash. He's good for where he is and what he is, but if you take him out of the slot in New England, he's Danny Amendola at best or David Anderson at worst.
Love AJ, but his body is starting to break down, Calvin Johnson is younger and healthier, I would go with him first and AJ second. DD
I was telling people on here a year or two ago if CJ had a good QB he would put up monster type numbers, four games 8 TDs.
The thing I do not understand is why does he not get more TD's, AJ body is pretty much build the same way as CJ.
