[notthatitreallymatters]Add Gary Brackett, Melvin Bullitt to the list. Both out for the season.[/notthatitreallymatters]
Tennessee might be better than we all thought they would be. Still no reason for Texans to lose when we face them other than getting outcoached though which is possible with Kubiak.
Seems like every year we count out the Titans, they come out strong and have a good season. Hasselbeck has his running game (CJ looks to be in form now) and has been a good game manager. We'll see.
Didn't chapman predicted 6-10 for the Texans last season and everyone called him an idiot? Whose the idiot now?
Possible? Yes. Way too early to tell though. AFC East and North both have 2 legit teams (Pats, Bills, Steelers, Ravens) so it'd be an uphill battle for the #2 team in the South. I wouldn't put money on a wild-card team coming out of the South.
Texans (3-1, 1-0 div) Averaging 26.8 ppg, allowing 17.5 ppg Next up: home vs Raiders, away @BAL Flex Games: Beat MIA, vs OAK * Andre Johnson likely out several weeks Titans (3-1, 0-1 div) Averaging 22 ppg, allowing 14 ppg Next up: away @Pittsburgh, (Bye ,) home vs Texans Flex Games: beat DEN, @BUF * Kenny Britt out for the season (ACL) Jags (1-3, 1-0 div) Averaging 9.8 ppg, allowing 21.3 ppg Next up: home vs Bengals, away @PIT Flex Games: lost to NYJ, vs SD * Blaine Gabbert has doubled Luke McCowen's QB Rating. Unfortunately, it's only 63. Colts (0-3, 0-1 div) Averaging 15.3 ppg, allowing 28 ppg Next up: Tonight @TB, home vs Chiefs Flex Games: @NE, vs KC * Poised to ruin national TV ratings
Looking more and more like indy and jax are circling the drain and this is going to be a 2-team race. I can't help but feel like tenn's record is fools gold. Kind of like our 4-2 record last year. Let's hope so. It's really tough pulling against Mike Munchak. Such a great guy. WHY does he have to coach my least favorite team ever?
5 Oct 09 TEN @ PIT 6 Bye 7 Oct 23 HOU @ TEN 8 Oct 30 IND @ TEN 9 Nov 06 CIN @ TEN 10 Nov 13 TEN @ CAR 11 Nov 20 TEN @ ATL 12 Nov 27 TB @ TEN 13 Dec 04 TEN @ BUF 14 Dec 11 NO @ TEN 15 Dec 18 TEN @ IND 16 Dec 24 JAC @ TEN 17 Jan 01 TEN @ HOU that is such a cupcake schedule... I could easily see them ripping off 7-8 more wins. that new years day game is shaping up to be pretty epic.
One hard hit on Hasselbeck and our problems are over.... Judging from the schedule, I'd say week 5 against an angry Pitt team should do it.......
Lets hope the Texans didn't bang up Ben Roethlisberger too much yesterday and he can come back and play a good game vs the Titans next Sunday.
