Marshall says its Andre Johnson http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/31355/brandon-marshall-andre-johnson-no-1-wr
Blame it on Schaub for not passing it to Andre in TD situations. Schaub usually hits Andre midfield and gets hammered by safeties.
I never understood why Schaub doesn't throw the fade to Andre in the endzone. I saw that catch Megatron made in overtime today, and while it was a tremendous catch, how the heck does Minnesota leave him in single coverage?
2 more today for Megatron. That's 8 touchdowns through 4 games. One of his Td's, they had triple coverage on him. Anyone want to go back and change their vote on this poll? It's incredibly lopsided.
How many times has Andre been thrown the ball while within the end zone this year??? How many times has Calvin?? I'd say a 3 to 1 ratio in favor of Calvin, possibly even higher. A WR can't throw it to himself, and both WRs are the types where you can throw it to them in the end zone regardless of coverage. Basically saying neither receiver strikes me as able to do much more than the other were they to swap systems.
I'd go Calvin over Andre not b/c of stats but b/c of the eye test and simply age. The top 3 are pretty locked and good arguments can made for all 3 in Andre,Calvin and Fitz..... If its all about stats than gotta throw ole Wes Welker in there too...
I thought because it was in the NFL forum and not the Texans forum that people would make an intelligent, informed decision. I guess I was wrong. My fault.
No, this is a rockets message board. Many posters here do not live in Houston and couldn't give a rat's ass about the Texans.
