I could keep my team as is without a traditional SF - you don't always have to follow the typical team structure. My front court would have great offense and defense. Parker has a superior PER to Rondo, and while he may not be as good of a passer as Rondo, he can shoot and penetrate better than he can. My backup PG is Jamal Crawford who I believe won the 6th man of the year
Hate to burst your bubble your not going to want Crawford handling the ball at the pg spot he's a scoring 2 guard his turnovers would be high. Aldridge would not be able to guard faster SFs and cannot play the position because he is a post type player not a wing

So you are going to play 6'11 Aldridge at SF and get owned defensively by every starting SF in the league? We all saw how that worked out for you last time. K...... If you think Rondo and Tony Parker are in the same league you are delusional. Rondo may be the best defensive point guard in the league. He may be the best rebounding point guard in the league. His assist numbers are identical to Nash, as they lead the league in assists per game. Sorry...Tony Parker is not a better penetrator..... Look at Hollinger's PER ratings for point guards after Parker.... not the best metric, especially for a player with Rondo's skillset. Rondo can give you triple doubles, Parker can do what? Give you points?

my exclamation wasn't so much about the point he made, (although I don't wholeheartedly agree) but more his attempt to sabotage yet another trade of mine, so he can (hopefully in his mind) have a shot at Rondo.
Rondo is younger averages more assists and is a defensive monster one of the best rebounding PGs he just can't shoot....he needs shooters around him Parker is a third tier PG rondo is tier 2 IMO
I'm not trying to sabotage anything. Rondo is better yes but they ARE in the same league. I'm sure icdoys team would be better with the trade. He asks for less too for his trades I wouldn't mind trading him for rondo.
And I don't have a shot at rondo if you have him anyways because I'm not playing evans at the 2 by trading manu to you... I don't see how sabotoging the trade helps me
