I guarantee you see that play made on a majority of punt blocks, FG blocks, and it is not called. Also, Manning MADE the block on the kick.. at that point, you know the guy has a full head of steam/adrenaline... and it won't matter if you have Cowher, Parcells, or Vince Lombardi back there... he's going to let his instincts take over. You honestly think these guys will stop and remember what a coach told them passively on day one of training camp in that situation?

I'd rather have an aggressive team that has the ability to make opportunistic plays, than a team that is so worried about making mistakes that they overthink their instincts.

I don't think our team is anywhere close to being as undisciplined as the Jets, Cowboys, or Raiders... and the upper echelon teams get away with more because track records precede them.

Damn!! After trying so hard to lose the game , they go and win it. Oh well, 3-1 it is. These 2nd half hiccups have got to be fixed.

TN is playing surprisingly well. I wouldn't discount them. Jacksonville, I may discount.

Another game with no turnovers for the Texans. Our team seems to kickass in that department this season.

A 100% healthy Foster against the saints, and we would have punched it in multiple times! and been 4-0 - Lock him up Rick!

This was the best second-half they've had all year... both defensively and frankly offensively (considering AJ80 was out). They got stops when they needed to, and got a score when they needed to.

Just call it what it was man, it was a dumb play. He wasn't being aggressive, he wasn't being opportunistic, he was just being dumb. He didn't recognize the situation. Manning is a special teams player, not a practice squad guy who doesn't get out there very often. He knows you can't block people in the back. You sure as hell don't block the punter in the back in the middle of the field with your guy five yards ahead. It was a stupid play. We're fortunate it didn't cost us the game.

The resilience of this team was awesome. The defense stepped up... I really love this D-Line. Great win. After AJ went down, the whole team was flat. We picked it up in the 4th quarter though and won ourselves a game.

I still wouldn't rush AJ back for that game if he wasn't ready. Tennessee still is an enigma. They lose to Jacksonville, they beat the Ravens, and then they beat a bad Broncos team and a scratch your head Browns team.

They have a pretty freakin easy schedule compared to us (they get New Orleans and Baltimore at home).

Fine... but I'm not going to crucify him for it, and start saying it was Kubiak's bad coaching that caused it. And again, refs let that play go ALL THE TIME.

I'm still calling it dumb flag. And they solidified their ineptitude by calling Watt for a low blow when he was CLEARLY blocked into the QB. Refs see that all the time when Schaub goes down. Its the first thing they look for when making a huge call like that.

Oh I'm not crucifying him but he's a leader in the secondary so hopefully he'll learn from it and it rubs off on everyone else. I think the Watt play was more protecting a name QB more than anything and that's fine, that's what the league is now. Watt is a smart player, he'll learn from it. It's good to get the win. Arian looked great today and Schaub didn't make any big errors, good win.

I don't know how Watt is going to learn how not to get blocked into a QB... other than just not be aggressive on passing downs by beating your man.

More likely, refs will realize that he is NOT a dirty player looking to injure the QB. Antonio Smith and Cushing may have more of that stereotype, but not Watt.
