I do hope they have trying to improve their game outside of having fun, for the rest don't care, even if they get drunk every night.

Are you kidding me, DD? I don't give a **** about his personal life. I don't know what Morey was thinking to get this guy, but seeing him play, I have very little faith in him becoming a player. The Grizzlies gave him a chance and they made the right decision to dump their trash on us because they knew they made a bad decision.

How long are you willing to wait for this "project"? I would rather have Donuts out there than this bust.

When have you seen him play?

Did you see him at Uconn? Did you hear what CD said about him?

He is not Hakeem, but he could become a Dikembe type of player with time on the floor.

I'm familiar with people leaving the hologram tag on their caps, but is it really the trend now to leave the actual price tag and barcode on there too?

Obviously fashion is subjective, and I respect Courtney Lee a lot, but I think that looks pretty silly.

Everyone looks like a superstar when they're in college. CD said that Calhoun told him he was never taught defense, but to just stay in the lane.

Prediction: Thabust is going to be leading the league in 3-second violations in the paint this season.

Is CD going to be spending the time with him to teach the guy defense? I highly doubt that.

Dude was a #2 overall pick. Right now, he looks like Tarzan, plays like Jane. The games I've seen him play, dude was really slow.....just jogging from one end to the other. The guy is going to need A LOT of work.

I know he isn't Hakeem, but if the Grizzlies felt that he couldn't be a decent center on their squad, what makes you think he'll be one on ours? He's just going to be riding the bench helping the waterboy til' his time runs out in the NBA and just disappears to work at some Sam's Club.

We just need to go out and grab one the FA centers available and move Chuck back to his original spot at PF. Tired of these guys driving into our lane we used to clog.

It's always about doom and gloom with some of you guys. How can you be leading in blocks among rookies one season and be a bust after two?

The Grizzlies wanted Shane to make a run more than they wanted a backup center.

Thabeet would start on several NBA teams now.....he just needs playing time to gain his confidence.

Come on now I know a lot of criticism towards Hasheem is unwarranted but this is just not true.

Sure it is, teams like Minny would happily play him, teams that are developing for the future would be giving him a look.

    Teams like....well the Rockets.

IDK, if he would have had the proper time to develop over the past 2 seasons, maybe.

Something to think about for those pissed at Thabeet's work ethic. If the guy was a Durant or even 1/2 or even 1/10 of a Durant, he'd be playing for the Grizz right now, instead of being traded along with a 1st for 30 games of Shane Battier.

Reclamation projects tend to have problems. That's why they're dumped so cheaply. If it's really that easy to make someone work harder, sports history wouldn't have been filled with gifted players who never even left a footnote in their careers.

Just be glad we gave up nothing for him rather than a 2nd round pick. He gets a 1 year tryout and we part ways afterwards anyway if he sucks.

If it was not for Adelmans stubbornness, Thabeet would be closer to getting in the rotation now.

The whole "WORK HARDER" nonsense is just a bunch of internet warriors making it up.

CD said he was working hard, him I believe, not a bunch of faceless people on an internet message board who are just acting like Sheeple and saying what they read on the webs.

There is no proof the guy does not work hard, there is only unwarranted speculation.

    No, it isn't.

Team's like Minny will start guys like Milicic instead, guys who can actually play. Guys who are projects AHEAD of Hasheem. And now that RA is coaching Minny it only further disproves your point.

And we aren't starting Hasheem yet, so we are not one of the "teams" that are starting Hasheem.

What "teams" exactly will start Hasheem?

It's the offseason I know, but I don't want to spend the next 10 pages telling you why Hasheem will not be starting on "several NBA teams".

I believe several teams would start him, you don't. There is no proof one way or the other, so we should just save the board the time and agree to disagree.

And I asked you which teams they are, which you have yet to answer besides Minny (which I already disproved especially now that RA is there as well), and us which I also disproved because we never started Hasheem.

But sure now is a nice time for an exit before your infatuation goes overboard, I think it's a nice change for you from before when you would spend 10 pages telling everyone Budinger is as good as Griffin and Curry ;)

    Flame,

You did not disprove anything you posted your opinion, there is no need to go back and forth on something that can not be proven by either of us.

I think he would start on several teams, you do not....

There is no proof....if you are desperate to feel that you won some mythical discussion. then by all means....good on ya mate !

Dikembe at 40+ YO was one of the best defensive centers in the game and helped us in our playoff push and winning streak as an anormous inside presence

    You need some fresh air

Using Mutombo name in the same sentence with Thabust is like dissing Deke and calling him a #%$$#^#$^$

Not at all, Dikembe at 40 had played years in the NBA, and even coming into the league had better coaching in College from John Thompson.

    Patience people, patience.....
