it looks like they used Hakeem's real picture for his stat's page. They screwed up on Otis Thorpe, he looks nothing like the real OT. they could have rated Vernon's defense much higher. Poor Carl Herrera, not even in the game ! But yeah, I think I might have to purchase this game.

OT looks ok Elie looks weird Maxwell looks like Herrera (go figure) Brooks looks spot on and Cassell looks more alien like than in real life. Maxwell is rated pretty high defensively, though indeed could've been higher. At least he's A- for outside shooting I love OT is 99 for rebounding, Cassell is rated higher than Kenny and overall they are not too far off.
Kenny Smith has a higher defensive rating than Horry?? Clearly gonna change dream's defensive rating to a 99. Unless the gameplay for future games is significantly better I don't see why I would ever buy a 2K game again (in the near future), since I now have the 94 Rockets and 86 Celtics.
When I played this today I was looking for more. Yes it is nice to have old school Rockets teams however I was looking for something to differentiate each player from each other. I was looking for Sam Cassell's herky jerky type play. I was looking for OT's one handed palm of the ball. I was looking for Kenny's line drive jumper. I couldn't pull off any of Hakeems signature post moves but know they are in there. This is a minor gripe of course but this game will be played alot. When I get the PC version next week then I will definitely play that more. @Icehouse. 2K has continually improved the game year in and year out, so even with this game having old school teams I am sure they will find a way to push the bar higher next year as well. Unlike that other sports game maker.
