I think redhot didn't really get the point of what's statement. What basically said it's strange how experts and the general public dismiss Hakeem and say guys like Shaq are better than Hakeem when actually 90% of the NBA players want to work out with him and are full of praise. He meant that Hakeem is one the legends that is most respected and idolized by current NBA players. I don't see the insult, maybe it's that time in the month for redhot(just kiddin you hehe) . :grin:
Hakeem is much more skilled, but Shaq is way more talented. You simply can't learn talent. It's a combination of skills, talent, heart, luck and Stern's invisible hand that define legends.
What does Shaq have over Hakeem except for strength? No shooting touch, basic post-moves, most of them relying on power and size. Hakeem may have started basketball at a late age, but his set of moves, his shooting, footwork, etc. are what places him above Shaq. You think Shaq would've put the same stats as Hakeem if they switched bodies?
