So basically, he said he would have to wait because all those poor people that don't get treated now would have been getting treatment? It seems like someone who believes in free market economics would say "if demand for medical services goes up, the market would create more medical jobs to address it".

As someone said earlier, his campaign seems be a lot of talking points without much understanding of what he's actually talking about when it comes to many political issues.

Answered the question by lying. Which is exactly what I said. I don't know why you'd be defending someone blatantly lying.

I'd feel differently about things if there was any type of positive momentum occurring within the economy, especially given the trillions in deficit spending spent to combat the problem. The upper class/1%'ers are even more well off than they were 4 years ago through the policies of this administration. See Solyndra.

Is Herman Cain the answer? I dunno, maybe. Is Barack Obama? Definitely not.

Obama's solar incentives plan did work. Solyndra is an example of what went wrong.

Here is an example of what went right and all of the jobs that were created because of it.

Herman Cain says he would not endorse Rick Perry for president

"Today I could not support Rick Perry for a host of reasons. Him being soft on securing the border is one of the reasons. I feel very strongly about the need to secure the border for real, the need to enforce the laws that are already there, the need to promote the path to citizenship that's already there," "But more importantly empower the states to enforce the national/federal immigration laws because the federal government didn't do it, can't do it, they never will do it. So that's where I think he and I have a basic fundamental difference of opinion."

999 what more needs to be said. Apparently he was a math major shop how does he expect 999 to not explode the debt.

I'm going to vote for Ron Paul. Wouldn't waste my vote on any other candidate.

Not to defend Rick Perry, but Perry basically spent all of Texas's homeland security grants on state funded border patrols and surveillance technology. Its funny that Republicans seem to equate building a fence with security when none of the governors along the border have ever endorsed building a fence. It's such an impractical method of security in comparison to the alternatives.

This isn't Israel where you can build a fence over a small stretch of land. The border is 2,000 miles long. It's just stupid that Republicans are sitting on their arm chairs postulating about huge fences when people who actually are on the border realize it doesn't work that way.

Of course Rick Perry is such an incompetent debater that he's incapable of communicating such a thing. (which also tells you why he wouldn't debate Bill White in the 2010 race)

A combination of his own wackiness, the fact that he's taken the "oddball black republican" role traditionally handled by Alan Keyes or Michael Steele, the pure bat**** insanity of Republican voters (which actually helps cain in some ways) and the media/FNC's decision to write its own narrative over who the "serious" candidates are, which doesn't always work out (see e.g. Tim Pawlenty, heh.)

Latest CNN poll shows Cain at 17%, Perry at 19% and Romney at 23%

    Possible Romney/Cain vs Obama/Biden ?

Romney/Cain can definitely play off having the best tools of fixing the economy since both are successful businessmen/CEO's.

But Cain seems like a ultra social conservative which Romney isnt.

Anyways to answer pgabs question thats what i think is wrong with Herman Cain. He just seems a bit too extreme when it comes to social issues.

Nobody gives a crap about social issues right now. The economy is all anyone cares about and maybe some national defense stuff too.

True, but some of Cain's views/stances on social issues are too extreme and might hurt his electiblity or even Romney's if he is made VP.

Thanks for the video. Glad Herman Cain is getting some support and coverage. I like his message on it has nothing do about the color of his skin but his message. Although not likely to happen it would be very interesting to see Obama vs Cain and look at the African-American vote.
I mean he is more Black than Obama. :)
