I know someone who went to the "Old Golf and Games" over in Humble. Supposedly that place is scary as hell.
I get a strange feeling every time I'm in that place. I hear strange noises....like really bad death metal bands playing way too loud. Strange smells too...like strong body odor mixed in with cigarettes and warm beer. It's very eerie.
Hey, you've heard my new band!! J/k, it really is a ****-hole that place and I'm not sure how much longer it'll be around with the new dynamo stadium being so close.
I've told this story before In college I lived in a house with four other guys in Hunstville This house was very strange. I've never had a problem being by myself in a house, but for some strange reason this house just spooked the heck out of me. If I was alone I would sleep in the living room. I had my own room, but for some reason I could never feel comfortable there if no one else was in the house. Also the room was always freezing no matter how high we turned up the heat. There was a closet in the living room and every night I would make sure the door was closed and the light off. In the morning I would go into the room and the door would be open and the light on. I thought maybe roomies were playing a trick, but it happened to them too. But the kicker was one night we were having a party. This one girl came to the front door and stepped inside, within seconds she started freaking out and ran outside. Several people tried to coax her back in but she just would not have it. She said she felt something evil. Like a presence within the house. Then again, it could have been the X.
Driskill Hotel in Austin. I didn't know it was haunted till I stayed their and heard noises throughout the night. Looked it up online and people seemed to have similar experiences.
Huntsville is very haunted. Demons Road, Old Main, Sam Houston's boathouse, The Junction, prison graveyard, and of course...... Spoiler
ah, Demons Road! Did a bit of freshman hazing on that road! But yeppers, lots of haunted places around Huntsville.
These Tags are comedy unto themselves.... Tags: cars, come at me ghosts, phones, scooby snacks, toycen?
There was some a old building in San Marcos that was like a hospital or mental asylum that was supposed to be haunted. Had a bunch of friends that got super drunk then went there but I never checked it out. Then some a-hole burned the place down a few years bac
Curious..where did you live in Huntsville? I know there was a house on the 1900 block of Ave. M that was supposedly haunted, as well as the house on the corner of 19th and ave. N that was used as storage by George Russell. I lived in the Apts on 20th, just off Sam Houston and me nor my girlfriend at the time felt comfortable sleeping there at night. It was only for 1 summer, so we stayed at her place most of the time.
Don't be an idiot. There's no such things as ghosts. Which reminds me. <iframe width="640" height="360" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jIFR-TA_DdA" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Stupidest show on Discovery.
It was an old two story set off from the road on University Ave right before it merged with ave M just north of downtown. hum...
My mom attended a training for work in Dallas about 20 years ago and stayed in a furnished apartment for about two weeks. She was up kinda late studying for a certification when she saw a red-headed woman wearing a green dress standing at the foot of her bed. My mom was obviously scared s***less so she hid under the blankets and prayed until she fell asleep. When she woke up, there was an empty prescription pill bottle from Kroger left open in the tub but there was no name printed on the label. To this day, my mom swears on her life that she wasn't imagining it. I've also felt a weird presence in the underground restroom of Arnold Hall at UH. I remember washing my hands and feeling like someone was watching me from behind but I was definitely alone. I couldn't find anything about hauntings at UH so I guess my mind was playing tricks on me.
Next to PGH building..Yeah I've heard that place was haunted..from what I heard someone a long time ago jumped off from the top balcony in the open area (below the first floor).
