Why would you compare PC footage with 5 year old hardware? And if you think it looks like "garbage" compared to PS3 then you must be blind.

Because I can and that's what they've been showing for the past year+?
    Totally blind.

Oh I see, you were the one getting run over by a tank 30 times. Nice to see you popping back again.

I see why EA/DICE would want to go after COD and its player base. They want the market share and they want the money, fine. But honestly, I would rather they just left the COD kids alone. I've already noticed a massive influx of COD noobs in bc2 lately no doubt in preparation for BF3. It ruins the game. Leave them to their pew pew shooter and 60 fps and let the grown ups have our fun with Battlefield.

Lol, what are you babbling about? I was discussing the graphical issues on the 360 and you start rambling on about call of duty?

Anyway, if you think you can hang with me in a FPS, pick one. Hint: FPS stands for First Person Shooter...as in, you're a person with a gun. Not a vehicle.

No kidding. I can barely tell the difference between PS3 and 360.

Please, stay with your FPS. I'll stick with Battlefield. Hint: Not just pew pew pew.

I've heard that there has been a caspian border password being thrown around for pc'ers. I think this is footage from that leak.

You can't judge from the quality of those videos you're posting. The video quality itself is poor.
I also love the animations...guy gets shot by a UMP and flies 30 feet across the screen. Another guy gets shot in his chest and falls like he was shot in his back...They're obviously bugs, but I surely hope this is nowhere near the release code they're going to put out. Also considering this is supposed to be out in less than a month, they've got to be very close to their final code. I'm getting the impression you have fanboy blinders on, or you just don't know what to look for.

Side note: even from the low quality videos there looks like there's texture issues. The gameplay on the other hand, actually looks quite fun. And...whatd'ya know...a distinct lack of vehicles!

This build is a few weeks old. On a totally unrelated note, would love to see some new MW3 clips.

Again poor video quality. In my opinion the textures look much better or at minimal much more vibrant. The animations are unquestionably better. Believe it or not, I couldn't care less which game is more successful. I'm more interested in Halo:Anniversary. (and for that matter, I nearly preordered all 3)

To be fair I believe the differential is due to Battlefield being intended for wide open battles with vehicles. Call of Duty doesn't really have to worry about rendering that stuff as much since there aren't really any tanks in motion, air vehicles are rare, and most of the maps are intended for CQB. Thus...better graphics. As of right now I don't really think you can argue that on the Xbox at least Battlefield doesn't look as good. As for Battlefield on PC, it looks incredible.

This could also have to do with the fact that DICE made a new engine for BF3 and MW3 is still running off an engine that has existed for some time with lighting improvements. In other words it's a more mature engine.

Edit: the volumetric effects (smoke) on battlefield (xbox) also had some noticeable problems. Again, MW3 just looks better.

Yes, the scale, the vehicles and the destructible environments make MW3 not even come close to BF3 on any platform.

Except...CoD still looks better and just based off the footage I've seen has significantly less graphical glitches, etc. DICE has been hyping up the Frostbite2 engine as having superior this...superior that...but they specifically mentioned animation. Yet, as I've pointed out this isn't the case. We'll see when the game comes out, I'm skeptical. As for it "not coming close on any platform", like I said -- you sound like a fanboy.

Blind Call of Duty fan boys.
    Unbelievable.

Seclusion, there is no way you think that CoD is better than Battlefield now right?
I used to be a huge CoD fanboy, but wow. Battlefield 3 is going to blow MW3 right out of the water.

i will be playing both. imo battlefield looks better and has a different gaming experience than mw3. I loved it in bc2 when you could blow up a wall in a building of a camper, and you could avoid the choke point doorways.

i still like mw3 as it will allow me to play fps when my friends arent on. however mw3 looks like mw2 with new maps and new killstreaks.

some people dont like vehicles, but as overpowered as they might seem, there is a tangible way to counter them even as infantry. and its satisfying.

overall i think i play as a team on bf titles. i play for k/d on cod titles. I like both.

I'm not much of a gamer, I played BF2 Rambo style and was successful, its so big and vast in area that you can play that way. Do you think b/c of destruction I won't be able to play that style anymore?

I won't even bother buying battlefield 3 because I am not going to play an inferior version and I don't have the computer that is powerful enough to run this thing on max settings.

Yeah so you definitely didn't read any of the posts. It was about graphical fidelity on the Xbox version. Gameplay was rarely mentioned, and I can't judge since I haven't played BF3 yet. Graphically CoD looks better...but anyway.

Well I am certainly a fan, and boy too. If you include the aspects I talked about, including gameplay, then it is not even close. And that is objectively speaking. I mean, I wouldn't be fan if it wasn't true, I don't owe DICE anything. As far as graphically on the consoles, it is up to debate, which is terrible on MW's behalf since we are comparing a tiny static environment to a dynamic destructible environment 10 times larger in addition to vehicles.
