Im not to sure about that. Next year Manning comes back, so that means no divison title. You cant throw seasons away. We dont know if andre or foster or schaub get injured next year either. They are stacked with talent NOW, there is no reason not to win it all this year. Except one,bad decisions on schaub and bad decisions on kubiak. Last time I checked, both will be back next year. If they cant win it this year, I have no reason to be optimistic they will win it next year.

Are you one of those people who call in radio shows and say we should go after Carson Palmer? I think that's the main reason why you are who you are. You post, it may not be coherent, but as long as it's spelled correctly, all is well.

How are you going to win NOW and not waste talent if you change quarterbacks now? What changes are you proposing that wins the super bowl this year? How about improving the defense? If nothing is going to make you happy about this team as it's currently constructed, then please get off your soap box, grab a terrible towel and catch a ride with a steeler fan up to Pittsburgh, and don't let the door hit you on the way out. Hitch onto a bandwagon somewhere and don't look back. Seriously consider ceasing your posting here if you're not going to bring anything of value to these discussions.

This is great logic. If you've never done something before, there is no way you will ever do it.

So, no one has ever done anything for the first time.

I would wager the vast majority of us would have the same reaction: Disappointed but happy to have had the experience; let’s build on it and not regress.

Teams have to get over humps. Once they do it, it opens A LOT of doors.

I doubt Kubiak has a good record on the road as he doesn’t have a good record overall – but he’s only coached 42 road games in his career here; I find it very had to believe 19 of them were against good teams. It’s certainly possible – but that number seems artificially inflated.

I would wager Rex Ryan would have been content with first round fodder in 2009. But they’ve since had postseason success and so, of course, the bar has been raised in New York. The Texans should not yet measure themselves using the same standard – not when they’ve recorded one winning season and no playoff appearance. Baby steps.

Someone will have to remind Jerry Jones what the playoffs are.

I don’t necessarily disagree. But Kubiak is working right now with a 3rd-string rookie RB and what I’m sure are vivid memories of a god-awful defense. Once Foster is back healthy, I’d very much love to see him be more aggressive in these situations.

If Foster is healthy, he doesn’t have to carry the team on his back.

Schaub has been mostly inconsistent against better competition. He’s turned in some truly outstanding games and some absolute duds. He’s had great games undone by poor decisions on his part and poorer execution from his teammates.

Not to go all Richard Justice on you, but I don’t think we yet know what Schaub is capable of on a more sustained basis. “Big” games have been few and far between for this franchise; but I think we’re going to get a bucketful this year. He was great for 3Qs Sunday, lousy in the 4Q. I’m anxious to see how he plays in these next three games. It really feels like the tone will be set for this season. Here’s hoping they go 2-1 and head to Tennessee 4-2 overall.

Before last year Aaron Rogers had never won a playoff game.

That wildcard game against the Cardinals not withstanding, I can't think of many times Aaron Rodgers has come from behind to win his team the game, or even tie it up for them.

Week 1 in 2009 he led a 4th quarter game winning drive vs Chicago.

Week 15 in 2009 he scored the go ahead TD with 2 minutes to go vs Pittsburgh but ultimately lost.

Week 6 in 2010 he tied the game up with the Dolphins with 5 minutes to go but lost in OT.

Week 12 in 2010 he tied the game up with the Falcons with 5 minutes to go but lost on a last second field goal.

Week 17 in 2010 he clinched a playoff spot by beating a Bears team that had nothing to play for with a TD pass with 5 minutes to go.*

*So that is his crowning "clutch" achievement... definitely not what I expected.

I had no idea his resume for comeback/4th quarter performances was so weak (this includes the playoffs, btw)... hell, out of the 6 times he's led his team on a drive to tie/take the lead in the 4th quarter, FOUR of those times he's lost the game! Does that sound familiar to anybody?

I didn't bother listing the games where he actually played poorly in the 4th quarter, but suffice to say, it's a lot more than I expected. I guess it's easy to look badass when your team actually supports you/does their job. Imagine that... a team whose defense can hold a lead, special teams doesn't miss kicks or shank punts, and running game doesn't cough up the ball? Who knew those things were so important to your W-L % as a QB.

Don't get me wrong, Aaron Rodgers is incredibly skilled and talented... but it just goes to show you that what seemingly separates a "great" QB from a "good" QB is how the rest of his team performs. Funny, but sometimes this simple concept eludes people.

I am SHOCKED to learn that a team can win a Superbowl without their QB leading comeback drives every week. Or that a team can win a Superbowl when they've never won one before.

So how many times a week do you call into Sports Radio 610?? Seriously, you predicted a loss to Miami and you were wrong. You basically "so what"ed your way to predicting an 11-5 record to the Texans, and then dismissed it like 11-5 records happen all the time in the NFL. You are now claiming that if/when the Texans make the playoffs, it won't be an achievement to be proud of because we are guaranteed to lose in the first round. At what point do you buy into your OWN rantings, and start posting better material?? Because as of right now, I've gotta tell you....you're coming off as a pretty big moron who has no idea what he's talking about.
