Pick 1: Big Ben @ HOU Eli Manning @ ARI Sexy Rexy @ STL Believe it or not, I'm actually leaning towards the Sex Cannon. St. Louis blows chunks and Santana Moss on turf can mean bad things for DBs. I expect Roflburger to get hit a lot, not sure what to think about Eli though.
No way. I just picked up Casey (cut Malcom Floyd), but only because I have to have a RB for Week 6, and any RB that gets 3 touches a game seems to get picked up in that league. Casey had a great game this week, but did nothing the other 2 weeks. Also note that Owen Daniels had his best game this season as well. I don't know if that is going to stay the case. I know Thomas Jones will continue to get carries in KC, since they want to limit McCluster's touches.
I'd do it because I think it is worth the risk. When healthy, Gates is easily the best TE to have. Wayne has outscored Jackson up to this point, and it looks like Vick's health could be a big concern the remainder of the season.
Should I spend my #1 waiver on Torrey Smith? I'm not in dire need of a WR, and I might be able to pick up Victor Cruz or James Casey after the waiver period. Dropping Fred Davis. I would go Nate if it's PPR. Rice otherwise. The Vikings pass offense scares me, and not in a good way.
Hey guys, I need help with week 4. I'm playing the standard league format on espn. Pick 1: Matt Schaub vs Steelers Flacco vs Jets Fitzpatrick vs Bengals Appreciate any help
Looking back at my draft in one of my leagues, I have no idea how I'm still undefeated. I need for Rice, Megatron, and Stafford to beast every week or I'm screwed.
Mine was in a 14 team league. Brady in my draft went in the second round. I just torched the guy that ridiculed my Mathews selection in the 3rd round. I have 2 weaknesses. That is that I only have josh freeman as my one and only qb, and my tes are fred davis and lance kendricks. My only real regret in my draft was not doing the same amount of research on my tes that I did with my wr and rbs. Had I done that I would have surely taken gronk and hernandez, at least one of them. I picked kendricks in the 8th freaking round. This was a blunder. I am still holding out hope that Freeman is going to get it together, and I am hoping that I get ben watson from the wire. Other than that, I love my team.
Well, those guys will pretty much beast every week. Megatron is now the #1 receiver in the league. Better than Andre Johnson. Absolute money. I love AJ to bits, but I gotta call it like it is. Stafford just pretty much throws the ball in his direction whenever he needs a 1st down or touchdown, coverage be damned, and he hauls it in. He made one absolutely filthy grab in the 4th quarter this past Sunday that just left me speechless. His remarks later? "oh that was easy. we practice that all the time." I can't believe he fell to me in the 2nd round. I'm riding that horse to championship victory.
Roddy White looks a little pedestrian this year. I don't know whether it's Julio Jones sharing his lunch money, but he just doesn't seem to be as great as he used to be.
I'd like to think so myself, but I suspect the Bills are primed for a small letdown, and Cincinnati is the perfect trap opponent for them. Bengals defense is severely underrated this year...even without JJ they still have a mean secondary and you shouldn't expect QBs to go off against them. I'm not saying you should start Schaub, but it should be considered. I have less respect for the Steelers D than I do for the Cincy D right now.
Your team sounds good, Mine was in a 10 team league, I like my team, but besides mccoy im weak at rb.
I don't think it's Julio Jones. If anything Jones should be helping him out by attracting attention away from White. It's definitely Matt Ryan who has looked extremely pedestrian and gotten off to a super slow start. I expect Ryan to get his **** together soon and so Roddy should look like the stud from last year and Jones should also put up better numbers too.
