My initial thought was the latter. I was typing his name in before I realized I would have no offensive power and no picks til the fifth round.

I was thinking that as well. Having Kobe in the lineup makes things tougher, though. Can I afford to pass up on such a cheap quality player?

Also a very good cheap PG out there.

So the deal looks like this right?

    KLove, 5th, 6th for your pick 5th(#1, #3)

I'd rather have a passer than a scorer at that position, though. Kobe will dictate the offense.

Honestly I would blow my money now and find cheaper players later. 2nd round you needs someone to roll with Kobe. A great althetic defensive SF would work well with him.

Word of advice: Give up the 7th not the 6th, Jamers. If he doesn't take that deal he is not being smart.

(even if it were Love, a 6th and a 7th, Rowdy would be getting the better deal.)

This. The other deal was a little unfair. IMO

The point I was making was if I get a 7th instead of a 6th, would he be cool with #1 and #7?

If you don't finalize the deal soon I'll offer him a 4th and a 5th.

Be more specific--I'm not going to trade Kobe Bryant for Ish Smith later. :)

There's a better center out there anyway.

Jamers, what do you want to do? Give the 6th and get #1 and #3, or give the 7th and get #1 and #7?

Yes there is. THETHING won't pick. I'm stuck between an aging pf whose still great and a good second tier center and a great slashing pg who can pass the ball
