I was going to say the same thing and I only would take Calvin because AJ said his the best WR in the NFL.

Calvin Johnson also hasn't formed a superteam with Larry Fitzgerald, I didn't say it was exactly the same. I meant as far as who was the best at this time, and who was going to take over as the best.

I think I will still take Brady and CJ.

Well well, great minds think alike. Only thing is Fitzgerald, CJ and AJ are equal IMO.

RB is all about scheme. Patriots wouldn't take Peterson if they could add any RB they wanted IMO.

That can basically apply to most positions. Would Wes Welker be anywhere as productive playing in another scheme?

AP is a beast from the moment he came into the league with a bulls eye on his back. His consistency is something that has to be valued. Greatness is all about consistency and AP has that.

Brady and Rodgers are debatable so I dont mind who is first because both are great.

But I put Calvin above AJ because he finds the endzone. Jerry Rice isnt the greatest because he caught the most passes, but he scored the most. Calvin will make it clear this year he is the best as he is on pace to get around 20 TDs.

    But good discussion.

CJ is on pace for 32 TD's.

Realistically he is not. But he is the number one scorer at the WR position easily. Best redzone receiver bar none.

Welker's productivity is like the inverse of what I'm saying. If the Patriots could fill Welker's position with any other player in the league they would. I can think of several other players they'd rather have there.

AP isn't great at catching and he used to fumble. Best runner? Okay. Maybe.

Running back to me is near impossible to rank. I always use the RB position as an example when people try and compare all-time centers. Hakeem was the best overall. Wilt the most statistically dominant. Shaq the most physically dominant. Kareem to most durable. So on and so forth...

    Anyways... back to McFadden talk.

McFadden is a down hill running back with great break away speed and average elusiveness. He's also made out of paper. Being injury prone does not make you the top RB.

    Not debatable.

If you're bringing up his injuries as to why he is not the best then why did you state Arian Foster is better than McFadden when Foster is currently hurt?

    Aaron Rodgers
    AD
    AJ

AJ already has over 100 more receiving yards than CJ and is on pace for ANOTHER season of 1500 + yards.

Indeed we think (almost exactly) alike. Just saying you can't go wrong at WR with any of the 3. If forced to choose, I'd probably put CJ at #1 too but it's reeeeally close.

Peyton Manning is currently hurt, would you consider him injury prone?

McFadden hasn't played a full season.

Lol made out of paper? Good luck with Ryan Mathews.

Average elusiveness? You really embarrass yourself every time you try and talk football with me but you're a Chargers fan and know nothing of Lombardi trophies, so I sympathize with you.

McFadden had turf toe issues in his first couple of seasons, He's never missed more than 4 games in a season. Its not like we're talking about Fragile Fred Taylor here. To say he's "made of paper" is ridiculously off base.

I'm just giddy that now we have a guy who is going to flatten punk ass b****es like Eric Weddle on his way to the end zone.

    FACE!

I love the way McFadden attacks defenders with the stiff arm. He essentially will punch you in the face if you try to track him down in the open field.

If I needed a bell cow to run 30 times a game, I'd still rather have AP, but I might prefer McFadden in a modern spread passing offense.
