    When I watched Moneyball i couldn't help but wonder who could play Morey in a similar movie.

    I vote Vince Vaughn.

    That is exactly who I thought of when I first read the thread title.

    Maybe Tim Robbins when he was young, but he might be too old now.

    The Rick Adelman / Art Howe lines would be virtual the same:

    Morey: Rick, you can't start Shane tonight.

    Adelman: Daryl, the line up card is mine.

    Morey: Rick, you can't start Shane because I traded him to Memphis.

    Adelman: (stunned silence).

    I don't think he has the acting chops to pull of a Daryl Morey. Actually I dont consider James a real actor.

    The similarities between the Roxs and this movie are spot on. From winning streaks, low salaries and undervalued players, to the riff between the GM and the coach. This movie really reinforced my belief in what Morey is doing, I just wish we could of kept Rick (and have a bigger payroll).

    I thought the short fat guy really reminded me of Daryl. Lol.
