I just felt like watching something awesome (and possibly finding some zzzzz's)

Man, as much as it sucks that Yao and Deke went out... as much as I know we totally could've competed for a championship that year...

it was just good to be a part of this series... to be IN it. Whether it was LA taking us for granted, whatever, we took the (future) champs to 7 and were the only team to go the distance with 'em. I'm glad we were a part of it, because I'm pretty sure besides LA, the entire world wanted us to win that series.

Yao is gone, Battier is gone, Artest is gone, Brooks is gone... and altho we still have a pretty good team.. I am just yearning for better days. If the lockout continues I'm sure we'll all be doing this with past games (if we aren't already).

anyways, 27-17 Rockets, 2nd quarter. 'nite guys.

you should of woken up for Game 4, THE MOTHERS DAY MASSACRE. Both game 4 and 6 were instant Rockets classics. I'm partial to game 4 though because the Lakers had no idea what was about to happen. Scola was in Olympic Gold form and the Rockets ran em out of the building.

Aside from Yao and Deke not getting injured I like to ponder what if McGrady never got hurt and was a decent human being that year. We would of had Tmac, Yao, Deke, Ron Arrest, Shane, Aaron, Kyle, Luis, Chuck, Carl, and Von. That could of been one of the greatest Rockets teams of all time. So sad, Daryl put together an awesome team bad luck and brittle bones killed it.

After games 1, 2, and 3, even Rockets fans didn't know what the hell was going on.

    ha tru!

man, Game 4 was awesome. I remember getting the night off and going to a local Buff Wild Wings (hate the food and service, but lots of big tvs ha) to catch it. I believed we "could" win, but I had no idea it would be like that. Living in Grapevine now, I was half afraid the bar would be playing other things, but not only were Rockets fans out in full support, but Mavs fans were there and cheering too just to see Kobe/LA lose.

My fiancee and I had just started dating, so she got to see my Rockets fanboyness in full effect that night. GOD I was so happy, lol.

Its sad that the only time Tmacs team got past the first round was when he was injured. That roster could've done a lot of damage and would've been respected for years I think. oh well...

and yeh, Scola was in top-form. For as much crap as he gets for being a poor defender (the man can still steal balls on the perimeter off screens, swipes well inside, and takes charges...including being a really good defensive rebounder w/ no jumping ability), I think we're spoiled for how good of a player he is in "his" ways. I doubt most fans appreciate him as much as they should, even tho there are more athletic defenders out there. He is one of the better PFs in the league, but everyone wants their team to having a prime Duncan or something as their starting PF.

I do miss Landry coming in off the bench and splitting time with him tho. Bah!

Man it's gonna be a while before we even sniff the playoffs.

Rebuilding is gonna be painful and really frustrating.

It's make or break time for Morey.

Let's see what happens with the new CBA. It may force some teams to shed some stars and seek out cheaper players like ours if there's a hard cap or something. Morey's strategy hasn't been able to land a new star under the current CBA because the real stars have so much bargaining power that they can all go to the markets they want. But with a hard cap, they might not be able to choose as easily where they end up going, forcing them to go to other markets besides LA, NY, Boston.
