Regardless, of the outcome. Fun game, although extremely frustrating red zone trips. Now time to beat Pittsburgh at home.
Two questions for my clutchfans family: 1. DonnyMost , do you still think Schaub is clutch? 2. DD, do you still remotely believe Foster is worried about Tate takin his spot??
Reaching much? C'mon, I know I was ready to break multiple household objects but even I'm not willing to go that far. It's a baseless comparison.
it's gonna take time to get over this debacle because this was the one to put us on the map...Seems Buffalo and Detroit have learned how to win before us...And thats a damn shame!!!
Kareem Jackson? He's not expected to play well. Mario Williams? 1 Tackle. I'll give him props for coming back after hyper-extending his knee, but he needs to step his game up!
I smell fools gold with Buffalo. Detroit looks like they're the real deal though. Sick d-line, elite receiver + good receivers, even better QB.
One interception and he's not clutch? Schaub played fine and is pretty far down the list on reasons we lost that game. You do realize that Brees had an arguably worse game than Matt, right?
I wasn't serious it's just irritating watching 1 player so negatively effect our team the way he does. There honestly isnt one thing he does well, and he's making first round money, what a waste
Schaub should've had two picks himself. That fluke TD that Walter had left me thinking we'd get the fortunate bounces today. The problem still remains that if you "heat up" Schaub in the pocket he gets jumpy and starts getting the ball out quicker than he has to at times. His little jump passes in the red zone contributed as much to our red zone futility today as Foster's absence.
DM , he always makes the dumbest of passes when faced with adversity... He can throw for 400 through 3 3/4 quarters...But he's gonna do that 1 dumb ass play to offset it...Today it was that lucky touchdown pass... But even before that he threw at Tates feet that almost popped up... He may not be the worst in clutch situations but like I said weeks ago, I dont trust him at the end of a game...
If you go back and read some of the scouting reports on Kareem Jackson you will understand that this mess is on the Texans. They made a dumb pick. Scouts were predicting that he would not make it at the next level.
Shoulda coulda woulda --- didn't. Matt had a decent game. We couldn't run the ball in the redzone, nor could we run it at the end of the game (mainly because Kubiak didn't call any runs). That and Kareem Jackson are reasons 1A and 1B we lost. If you want to roast Matt for not unquestionably outplaying Drew freaking Brees in the Superdome... SMH.
Good game, was pretty much just as expected. A high offense game that could go either way. Oh well, wasn't planning on going 16-0. See how they do at home against Pittsburgh.
See there your b**** azz go tryin to get cosigners.. I asked you a simple question...You made your sarcastic comeback... I stated what I think and now Im stupid... Then you do the lil "see me, look at him " comments... I see you though!!!
Dude, stats aren't what determines how a QB does on a given game. When the game was there to be had, he didn't make winning plays down the stretch. I thought he was going to pull it out after that big TD to Casey, but when we needed it, Brees had whoeverKJwasguarding, and Schaub locked in on AJ and when they took that away, we were toast. We tried to go towards KW and JD at the end, but not the same results.
careful , you gotta agree with them or they call you names.. Then he gonna pull up dumb azz stats from previous years to try and prove their point...
I'm a Schaub fan. I know he has his limitations (well documented), but sometimes you have to make a play, and today he didn't. Over the course of they year, you can win with Matt.
