It's the first round of the All NBA Draft Part 2! For this draft we used a $75 million hard cap. Production estimates for each player are based on their 2010-2011 seasons. All players are considered to be healthy, but age, accumulation of injuries, or serious injuries are accounted for. So, for example, Greg Oden is to be considered healthy but his injury history is to be respected.

This matchup pits torque vs. The CDN Dream

    torque
PG Chris Paul / Goran Dragic / Jeff Teague
SG Ray Allen / Tony Allen
SF LeBron James / Trevor Ariza
PF Anderson Varejao / Ryan Anderson / Troy Murphy
C Andrew Bogut / Ben Wallace

    The CDN Dream
    PG- Steve Nash/ Mario Chalmers
    SG- Stephen Jackson/ Wilson Chandler
    SF- Josh Smith/ Austin Daye
PF- Kevin Love/ Jeff Green/ Ersan Ilyasova
    C- Chris Kaman/ Samuel Dalembert/ Joel Anthony

I noticed that Dragic is on torque and AFS's team. Which team is he really on?

I don't think Dragic will make that much of a difference though. It'll be corrected in the next round.

I still don't like torque's big men. Bogut isn't enough and neither him or Varejao have any jumpshot whatsoever.

Steve Nash teams are always near the top of offensive efficiency so I think they will score, it's just the Lebron James factor that makes this matchup close.

I'd like to direct you towards the games Steve Nash played against Chris Paul last year:

In those 3 games, Nash scored 10, 8 and 3 points while shooting 33.3%, 37.5% and 11.1%. Paul scored 26, 26 and 22 points in those 3 games, shooting over 50% all 3 times. The Hornets were 2-1 on the Suns last year.

Actually, he pulled off a string of savvy trades where he got Westbrook and flipped him for Paul.

We already knew that Paul was the better scorer, and that's too small of a sample size to draw too much from it. It's overall impact that is important. I'm just saying that if you stick Nash with a talented ensemble of players like CDN has that they might score enough to beat you.

CP3 and Lebron probably get you the win but I don't think it's quite as lopsided as it first appears.

I'd say front courts are about even but that backcourt of CP3, Allen and LeBron is just ridiculous.

Well thats a horrible first matchup lol.. I can beat like more than half the teams here but i get the stacked starting 5..

Well anayways. I think that Josh smith can slow down james on defense and i have a pick and roll/pop game with nash and love which is almost unstoppable

other than that, his bench is horrible offensivley and i think i have an advantage there.. i wont argue about his superstars but i think he has a bad inside game

ps. we should make a consolation side where the winner gets a chance lol

i dont really want to make an explanaton about my team because im like dwon 40 votes...

but yeah i think all the ppl who lost the first round should be put on a consolation side where the best of them get a 2nd chance

Well id probably wont win now lol.. but if u take into account benches.. my 3 centres can wear down any big manin the league and i dont think bogut would be that effective against any of them

    - ray ray, lbj and cp3 cant play all game and when they do come off, there is no scoring so i think i can make up gound there

    - and for the starting 5's, josh smith can slow down lebron, and the same with jackson on ray (he could also be missing his shots) therefore, cp3 would be the only effective scorer (i know nash got no d lol) and i feel i can get an upper hand there. overrall i think my starting 5 can keep the game close and then my bench can take over when compared with his
