for what? posting on a bbs message board? i'm just laughing at all the morans who are mad a little bitty baylor for not signing a waiver that came with not one concession. no one in their right mind would do that when $15 million a year is at stake. if you want to condescendingly syh at people, it should be those idiots who think they should've have signed that waiver. you know, dumb aggy.
I really hate to be the harbringer of doom for the Baylor football program, but that schedule just has 6-7 losses written all over it. The only real slam dunks you have left are the Kansas schools. Enjoy the moment, by all means, that's what sports is for. But I hope everyone's expectations are very much grounded for the end of the year.
Pretending to care about a football program you have never supported? i think I have been to more games in waco than some of you guys.
posting on a message board to you is like driving 3 hours, spending $50 for a ticket, spending four hours at a game, and driving 3 hours back? yeah, i agree baylor fans should show more support, but if those are equivalent efforts, i think you need that permanent sabbatical from this bbs. see when i post, it's really really easy.
LOL - Are you a creeper? I went to Baylor @ Rice. I went to our bowl game. I went to the sweet 16 and elite 8 game the season before last. I wanted to go to numerous basketball games last season but tickets were hard to come by. I'll be in College Station on Oct 15th Ask The Cat about how we represented in the tourney the season before last. There were plenty of fans and we were loud.
i didn't do all those in one day. and the only effort that goes into typing what i'm typing now is making sure my screen is blocked so it looks like i'm working. i'm sorry making your posts feels like you put in 10 hours of work, cause they certainly don't read that way.
He said ATM would fill up Kyle stadium regardless of how ****ty their team was. Old picture or not, it proves otherwise.
Our defense isn't that great so my expectations are grounded. Our offense is superb though so you never know what can happen. Maybe we'll lose every big game, but I don't think that'll happen. We'll see how it all plays out. At least, we're competitive and in the discussion. RG III could be the truth. You know would rather play our tough schedule than the cupcake schedule UH plays. You're quite happy about UH's season so far yet they needed a miracle to beat freakin LA Texh. My point being is that this is what sports is about. You support your teams blindly
I just hate to see anybody get their hopes up with Briles, because defense and special teams (and team discipline) typically win close games... and those are some of his biggest sore spots. It's exciting as hell to watch, but when things get rough, his teams tend to crumble. It would just be really crushing to see BU go from top 25 to not even making a bowl game, but unfortunately that's what I'm afraid is going to happen. And people are going to be ppppppppissed.
So what's the context behind those Kyle Field pics? I think one thing everybody underestimates is that even a lot of these schools with big followings would struggle to put butts in the seats if not for an interesting slate of opponents year in and year out. Nobody can claim they're immune to that, except maybe Nebraska. Those people would go watch the Huskers play tiddlywinks against a D3 school in a snowstorm.
Because the Red Sox will never win a title... Because a mid major will never get to the Final Four... Because a non-BSC school will never beat a good SEC team in a BCS game... Because what has happen will irrefutable always happen and never change? Seriously DD, why on earth do you watch sports at all if you come at it with that attitude? Sure, A&M will have to do better to compete in the SEC. Sure, it will tough, and more often than not they may not be a favorite for the SEC Championship/MNC Contender. But things changes, games have to played on the field, and rivals ratings don't alway turn out. However, many of the foundational pieces to make some of those goals a reality are finally in place. Just because we don't know if they will put together does not mean they NEVER will.
I'm not trying to hate on Baylor, I've got absolutely zero bad feelings towards the school. I went to William & Mary and have no irons in this fire at all. But it's a legitimate thing to say that this situation has really brought out the major insecurities of a whole lot of Bears. Not all of them...but I'm seeing some folks that don't normally say a word about the school putting up near daily rants about Aggies. Longhorns, Sooners, Tech...nobody else is a fraction as wound up about it. You can't possibly tell me that isn't because everyone, Baylor crowd included, knows that Baylor will completely fade into obscurity if Texas/OU pull out of the conference. Baylor's been hell bent on being a player on the sports scene, but has it translated into any national respect? Switch them out with UH and ESPN would be all over it. I'm not saying that to be mean, but it's the truth. If the Baylor faithful truly believed they'd stand tall without riding UT's back....you wouldn't care at all what happened to the conference.
http://collegesportsblog.dallasnews...how-do-you-fix-texas-ams-attendance-prob.html Another article that supports the fact that people don't come to watch Aggies play no matter what.
