Da US Senator from OK is blocking federal judge appointments over concerns that they'd enforce Sharia law and internationals law. This guy ain't that far off from his Senator.

I enjoy Jones' show from time-to-time. Not that he's some kind of genius right-all-the-time with no alterior motives (ie profit for his website), but a lot of the time he is dicussing the news I want to hear discussed unlike the mainstream media. Anyway I figured I'd link to a few interviews he's done which feature subject matter ignored by the mainstream media which I think is important nonetheless.

Gibson CEO interview about illegal raid by feds: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i4OA-lyrwZ4

    Interview about unconstitutional super-congress: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h3j8bxwsZ_g

Interview with Sheriff Mack about Fast and Furious: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5MGUH82t6NI

I don't think any of these topics has been discussed thoroughly in the mainstream news. That's not to say Alex or his guests are incapable of exaggerating or what have you, but at least he is discussing important things on his show that are all-too-often absent from mainstream media. I wouldn't fault you for calling Alex crazy or anything else, he comes off that way alot, but I would resent you calling someone (like me) who wants all the info they can get crazy or anything else, just because I watch his youtube videos from time to time and find them generally fairly informative.

thats your problem - you shouldnt let others dictate your beliefs.

2-3 million listeners a week is pretty significant - especially considering he is doing it w/out corporate backing. no support from fox, clear channel or other mainstream media.

actually, i hear him all the time still ranting about 9/11.

he discusses all the of these issues - you can disagree w/ his analysis, but it is a fact that there are chemtrails in they sky, there is fluoride in the water and there is a bilderberg group (rick perry even attended their meetings, in violation of the logan act).

Conspiracy thread isnt conspiracy thread without an appearance from me.

I agree with some things Alex says, but sometimes he goes overboard. I want to see what happens this weekend with all the "exercises" going on in Denver, CO this weekend. Alot of people are concerned with these dates coinciding with something happening from that comet Elenin.

You're more of an Art Bell/George Noory guy, aren't you?

(Love that show. Don't believe any of it.)

    agreed, and great analysis.

with all due respect jo mama, I have to bring it up without getting in a personal battle, but... kindly revisit the Ron Paul Thread TSA thread.

again, without getting nasty ( I'm making a personal effort), allow me to recap

you called me a scared coward
I called you an "Alex Jones type"
your response: when did I ever reference anything about Alex Jones?

that's the thing- it's pretty clear who his listeners are.

see I can't stand him or what he says, and I most definitely don't listen to him.

    now what?

I have never heard of him but number if listeners doesn't mean what you imply it does. I listen to coast to coast when I am driving that late. Show is awesome.

No, more like when I met Ron Paul supporters at conventions and realized that at least half of them thought Bush blew up the WTC and that the threats of a NWO were real, I begin to seriously doubt whether it's something to be serious about. You can judge a man by the company he keeps after all, and the fact that Paul basically tolerated the fact that he was supported by fascists and conspiracy loons is a very bad sign. Not to mention his own integrity is suspect with that political report of his.

Irrelevant. I don't give a crap if he's listened to by 2 million or 200 million people. He's a nut, promoting ludicrous ideas that have not helped to the increasing polarization of this country.

And I guess I didn't realize he still rants about 9/11. I actually have an small hobby in conspiracy theories - or more specifically, in destroying them. And I know perfectly well the 9/11 troof movement has significantly weakened over the last few years, making way for other crap as libertarianism has spread like FotL/Admiralty court junk and remants of the birthers.

Come to think about it, does Jones ever rant about Freeman on the Land? Don't think he's that stupid.

imo, most people who believe 9/11 was an inside job dont believe "bush blew up the WTC", rather criminal elements w/in the government orchestrated the attacks (or at the very least, allowed them to happen). most people put more responsibility on cheney - bush was a flag-lapel pin wearing cheerleader and nothing more.

and may i ask what exactly your definition of "fascist" is? and what "political report" are you talking about?

the issue isnt about whether or not he is a nut - you said he was not significant - i would argue having millions of people listening to your show is pretty significant, no matter what you are saying. again, there is nothing irrelevant or insignificant about 2-3 million listeners/week. that is a huge listener-base for an independent radio show.

how exactly do you quantify that?

never heard him say anything about it - what is freeman on the land?

again, when did i ever reference anything about alex jones in that thread?

and dont make it sound like i started the name calling. i just dug up the thread and here is how it went...

in post #383 you said you "hate" people who complain about the TSA and then you called me a "mouthbreather".

so in post #393 i said "you have clearly been terrorized into accepting the TSA measures - you are a scared coward who actually thinks having a bunch of glorified mall security sticking their hands down little kids and old ladies pants keeps you "safe" when the reality is that if procedures already in place were properly utilized the "underwear bomber" would not have even made it to the gate and 9/11 would have never happened."

so in post #399 you called me "Mr. believe everything Alex Jones tells you on prisonplanet type."

again, i never cited alex jones or prison planet in that thread and its insulting to me when someone implies that i am some kind of mindless tool who believes everything alex jones or anyone says. i didnt need alex jones to tell me that what the TSA is doing is wrong. im perfectly capable of thinking for myself, thank you.

I'd say a healthy dose of skepticism and distrust towards just about anyone should be in order in these ridiculous, hyper-partisan times.

Tomato, tomatoe. Still have met way too many Ron Paul supporters in my life who believe it.

As towards the specific word fascist, I mean that Paul drew a large amount of support from white supremacists, and that Paul never did enough from my perspective to basically tell them "f off". Remember when he drew donations from Stormfront, and basically said it wasn't a big deal when people complained about it? Not to mention him inviting a Neo-Confederate to rant about how the Fed was bad.

You never heard about this? It was a big deal back in 2008, and I've found it odd that it hasn't been used all that much this year to point out how crazy Paul is. Basically a magazine published in his own name filled with stuff that would make George Wallace squirm. Paul claims that he had nothing to do with it, but if he didn't, then he didn't check on the people writing in his name, which just makes him an idiot.

Here's a description from the Kos, and note that this is just the link from typing it in from Google - you can find it discussed at more respectable websites.

Okay, perhaps he's significant. Whatever. Rush and Michael Savage are probably even more significant. Doesn't mean all three aren't nuts, which is what really matters.

Nothing more than personal observation, really. I have seen less people ranting about 9/11 troof than compared to the last three years, and that's about it. Not the most objective, but it serves for me.

A conspiracy theory that is ...... well, pretty hard to describe as it really is that batcrap crazy. Has shown up within the last two years or so, and let's just say that its conclusion is that you don't need to follow any of the non-violent laws of the United States and if you say or do the right things in court, you can get away with a speeding ticket or not paying debts.
    Here's a link
