The problem is that Aggies have no track record of winning when they weren't blatently paying players. The sucked before the Sherrill years and they've sucked after they got busted for cheating. Sure ATM could out execute everyone like TCU and Boise, but they have no natural advantage in terms of budget, history and recruiting over any other team in the SEC.

Sure the SEC is a better conference, but being in the SEC will not help ATM get anything other than Texas's and OU's scraps when it comes to recruiting in Texas. The Texas recruits that want to play in the SEC will now get to see LSU, Alabama, and Florida on a regular basis so that won't help ATM either.

That is a weekly rating. Big 12 is the 4th conference in football.

    Winning what?

Don't think it's what you think it is. It's conference ranking updated weekly. Quoting ESPN:

What is this based on? The big 12 is the most impressive conference this year. How exactly do you qualify this very definitive statement.

They did pretty for a decade under RC Slocum - and he ran about as clean a program as anyone. In a 10 year period from 1990 to 1999, they finished in the top 10 three times, and the top 15 seven times. They went downhill starting in 1999 or 2000, not coincidentally when OU became good and when RC Slocum was let go.

I have never watched any star trek episodes and just found it on Netflix one night. Now after 5 episodes I am kinda addicted. Compared to other shows in 1966 it is pretty awesome.

Brando, man... You are in your own world dude. In fact anyone here that thinks I'm blindly behind TAMU is delusional. Aside from saying they are near the top of the Big 12 (big stretch?) I'm not sure what makes you guys take the stance y'all are taking.

Lets finish em' off Mizzou. Finish em' off.

Deflecting the issues when presented with clear information that contradicts your statements isn't a clever way out of the issue.

Look I get wanting to be in the SEC but why are you actively hoping the Big 12 collapses?

You've presented nothing but gibberish fueling an argument you're fighting with yourself. Why are you hoping the Big 12 doesn't collapse? I don't actually care to be honest.

I don't get it either. Most of it probably stems for his hate of Baylor. You know the old saying...

There are conflicting reports. I guess we'll know soon enough. I think the conference survives as long as Texas and OU are on the same page. That's with or without Missouri.

I don't like Glee either. Hang me. I guess. Worry about your own wants and desires. Weirdos.

Hate for Baylor? Just annoyed. Love the basketball rivalry and you can go find where I stuck behind RG3's talents in another thread. Suckers.

I appreciate and recognize your kind words about RG III.

Your post about hoping that Baylor burns still resonates in my mind though. And I wasn't speaking about you strictly so I shouldn't have used the word 'him'. A few of my UH friends want the conference to dissolve so Baylor gets screwed in the end.
