Whatever standard you want to use, Kobe - TMac >> MJ - Kobe If Kobe shouldn't be compared to MJ as TMac fanbois insisted here, for the same people TMac shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Kobe. It's an insult.

All tinmac posts about McGrady are equaly the same Dear Clutchfans. He never did anything good to Houston Rockets organization. 48-9-9 or 13 in 35? Never heard about it. It's his fault that refs killed us in that Mavs series. It's his fault that he was injured next year and that Rockets were 2-16 without him. He quit on them, he said to his back to quit on the team. It's his fault that T-Mac played only 31 games with Yao and won 20+ of them. It's his fault that in 06/07 he had an NBA MVP caliber season and didn't won it because of Yao injury (just not enough wins to beat Steve Nash or Dirk). It's his fault that JVG made to many mistakes in Jazz series and nobody cares about Yao, the guy that was blaming himself for the losses. Winning streak in injury mode is bull shіt crap. Anyone could do that, just take look at those teams. Oh, stop, all of those teams were the champions in their respective seasons... Hmm. Oh, yeah. It's T-Mac fault that we didn't won a championship without Yao. All of the great "streaking" teams were able to do that. Stupid T-Mac! Burn in hell, you Tracy prick. 40 points on one leg? Even my granny could do that against Jazz at the crazy arena. I blame you Tracy for my enuresis, baldness and idiocy. It's all because of you! If you wouldn't quit on Rockets I could still bang girls like Brooklyn Decker. Burn in Hell, McLady Yours sincerely, Tinman
That's exactly what it is. YOUR FREAKING POINT OF VIEW. Not everyone must bow down and worship tinman's view. If you want to hold on to the Rockets championship years and suck Hakeem's wood for the rest of your life then fine. If you want to hate on Mcgrady then fine.
And I don't understand why TMac nuthuggers always use injury as an excuse. Kobe had a broken finger, a bad knee that needed surgery in offseason, drained the fluid 3 times in playoff. But none of those could stop him from repeating in 2010.
Broken finger wasn't even a concern. He could make a surgery in offseason but he passed on that. When you passed on minisurgery in offseason, it means that injury wasn't a big concern
Nobody is taking anything away from your precious Kobe. We're just stating the fact that injuries OBVIOUSLY derailed T-mac's career. It was chronic with him.
goodbug, I know you are Kobe fan and I don't agree at all on your view on Pippen. But the sheer insanity of the Tmac fans boys is beyond logic. This thread is about a player who scored 81 points a game. If this was their hero, Tracy McGrady, we'd never hear the end of it. were you here for the playoffs? as soon as Oklahoma City and Chicago were eliminated, Durant and MVP Derrick Rose were compared to McGrady. also when LeBron lost, you get a comparison to McGrady. Note how no one is dropping Hakeem's name in the GARM during the playoffs in a comparison thread. http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=204747 Is Durant really that much better than Tmac? http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=205565 TMAC > Lebron when it counts.... http://bbs.clutchfans.net/showthread.php?t=204956 Rose or McGrady ??
Tinman. Tracy's 02-03 stats compared to Kobe's 02-03 stats. Don't be an idiot. We're not comparing primes we are comparing that one year.
It's TMac's fault, in game 7 2007 on game floor, up 5 with 5 minutes left, he couldn't do a damn thing and only watch Rox losing the game. Those were the moments separating a winner from a loser.
And what's your point? Kobe scored more than MJ ever did in 2006 season if the score was normalized with league average. So Kobe is better than MJ?
well, if I remember it right, McGrady made two assists and score a bucket there. We lost that game because we weren't able to finish the defensive plays and get a freaking rebound on our glass
And that's part of the game and part of life. Apparently T-Mac gets such as pass that he's better than those who've accomplished more. Durability and toughness are also assets besides talent and skill. How many more great years would Bird have had if he didn't have his bad back? Would the Lakers make it to the Finals if Magic didn't suddenly retire for HIV? Both of these guys were MVPs and champions, they PROVED that they could do it. Why no pass for them? Why no pass for Ralph Sampson when in his prime he was running a fast break and posting up Kareem Abdul Jabbar? How about other sports? Is Bo Jackson better than Emmit Smith?
it wasn't all on Yao. He had missmatches on D so the team should box out and be much more aggressive on the glass. It was more about team rebounding that about Yao. When Yao finally stucked near the rim to fight and secure the rebound after possible miss, Okur dropped a three and burned our chances
It was JVG's fault that his scheme that worked well in the regular season could be exposed in the post season. The better team always wins the 7 game series. Tmac played well, but it wasn't exceptional enough to win a series. Traditional in game 7s, the clutch players show up. Also, give me the actual post number of when I said Tracy quit by being a free agent. He didn't want to play with Vince Carter and after he left, the Raptors went further in the playoffs. I believed he COULD HAVE helped them beat the Sixers.
So it's YM's fault TMac couldn't make any impact down the stretch? TMac force feed YM in the last 5 min and YM made a few of them. Without those baskets it wouldn't go to the last min. YM at least tried and failed. TMac watched and failed, although "it's on me". And what did Kobe do when he could not buy a basket in that situation? He grabbed 15 rebounds. If TMac could learn just one page from Kobe, he could have passed 1st round already.
