I got offered a trade: I give up Hakeem Nicks I get Cam Newton. 1/2 pt PPR My other receivers are Bowe Britt Gafney Hixon We can start 3 WR + flex Should I?
a) you didn't include who your current QB is b) no, not with 3 WR starting, Hixon out for the year (not that he matters much), and Gaffney as your #3
Is it in my best interest in just starting Cam Newton for the rest of the season? He's been posting ungodly stats these last 2 weeks, is it safe to assume he will continue with this? My only other QB is Rex Grossman. (I missed my fantasy draft and the idiot CPU automatically drafted P.Manning for me ). No one else picked up Newton either. Here is my roster as of right now. QB Newton RB Tate, Gore WR Eric Decker, Devery Henderson TE Jimmy Graham W/R Dexter McCluster Bench Grossman S. Jackson D. Thomas C. Williams S. Holmes J. Nelson K Freely Defense: Lions I was in panic mode after my 1st pick J. Charles went down with ACL tear and picked up McCluster at the last minute seeing as how he might get the brunt of the offense load.
That is real tough. Chris Johnson sat out of practice yesterday because of soreness. However, sooner or later they are going to get him involved. Hillis had a great game last week and when he gets going you want him in the lineup. I respect the possibilities that tate brings to a team in Fantasy, but I'd only play him as a flex. You can't sit one of your studs, though you should have known better than to pick Johnson as he would not be in game shape. This should be the week that changes all of that, I'm thinking.
How bad is Arian's hamstring issue? If this thing keeps lingering on through the season, I would start Tate.
Yea this is real tough. I don't think I can lose with any 2 out of the 3. It's good to have choices. I think I will roll with CJ2K and Hillis though since I picked them up in the 1st and 3rd rounds respectively. I too think this week CJ breaks out and goes for 120+ and at least 1 score.
Should I drop Eli Manning for Chad Henne? I'm worried that Giants might just have too many injuries this year for Manning to put up big numbers. My other QB is Mark Sanchez... yeah I know. Other QBs on waiver are Hasselbeck, Dalton, Alex Smith... Tavaris Jackson... Kerry Collins...
No. Lynch is only worth something if he plays a terrible run defense. Thomas's share of the workload increased a lot in week 2, and I expect him to continue to take carries away from Ingram. Addai, I'm not sure on. I haven't paid much attention to him this season at all.
Pick 3 WR & 1 Flex: Reggie Wayne vs. Pit Desean Jackson vs. NYG Deion Branch vs. Buf Percy Harvin vs. Det AJ Green vs. SF Mike Williams vs. ATL Tim Hightower vs. Dal DeAngelo Williams vs. Jac James Starks vs. Chi Daniel Thomas vs. Cle I just cut Dallas Clark for Fred Davis. Hernandez is also available, and would have been my pickup if not for his torn MCL.
Matt Ryan, i am okay with him starting off slow. This is my team QB- Matt Ryan, Cam Newton RB- Darren McFadden, Deangelo Williams Daniel Thomas WR- Calvin Johnson, Andre Desean Jackson, Dexter Mccluster TE- Evan Thomas and Kellen winslow K- Josh brown DEF- Lions
WRs (pick 2) Dwayne Bowe (@ SD) Santonio Holmes (@ OAK) AJ Green (vs SF) Robert Meachem (vs HOU) Plaxico Burress (@ OAK) Hines Ward (@ IND) RBs (pick 2) Chris Johnson (vs DEN) Michael Turner (@ TB) Ben Tate (@ NO) Jonathan Stewart (vs JAC) Flex Spot Chose 1 more from lists above
WR: AJ Green - Certainly looked like a top WR last week Robert Meachem - I still like him with Colston out, even though he didn't have a big game last week. RB: Johnson & Turner are your every week starters. Flex: I'd go Ben Tate. Even if Foster plays. The NO run defense is terrible.
