General question for you guys: Does your opponents lineup ever factor into who you start any given week? Shouldn't your lineup be justified by who you think will score the most points regardless of who the other team starts.
I would pick up another QB. White and Maclin are easy choices. Green and Meachem would be my others. Peterson and McCoy are every week plays.
Well, the original deal of RECEIVING S. Johnson and D. Branch for L. Blount is on the table still. Johnson's injury troubles me though and the thought of Blount having a huge game too but it may the best I can do.
I don't ever use that logic because you can change lineups right before the game. I start whoever has the best matchups in real time.
I do. I mentioned above about how I look at it. If the other team has your qb for one of your good wr it WILL affect your ability to make any headway on him because every time you score, he scores. If you don't play that wr and his qb has a big game you help him, but if he doesn't you help yourself. It is risk to play this way though especially if the wr you have is a top wr. I would not make a move like this if I had Mike Wallace and my opponent had Big Ben. Alternatively, if my opponent had Aaron Rodgers and I had Jordy Nelson. I might play nelson to try and devalue AR. It is a numbers game.
Bradshaw. The Giants are severely hurting in their passing game, they're built to run and the Eagles are not good at stopping that.
Tolbert. SD is gonna be way up on KC early and running the rest of the way. With all the running, both backs will get plenty of carries. Plus Tolbert will get goal line. Bradshaw will split time with Jacobs evenly, and they're up against a good D. They'll also probably be down early (seems like Vick will play?) and not running as much edit: agree Philly's D isn't great at run-stopping. But if they're down early, I think they'll have to pass more.
Just wanted to pass on that Tolbert did not practice Wednesday, so keep an eye on this. He is listed as questionable with an undisclosed injury. Tolbert also didn't play well last week when he had his goal line chances. On the other hand, I'm not a big Bradshaw fan either, but play him if Tolbert is injured, that's a no-brainer.
