I currently use this card.... http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=6680898 I wonder how well it will run BF3 @ 1920x1080p resolution and if the graphics using it will be better than on Xbox/PS3?
Should look better than the consoles, and consoles are limited to around 24 players, while pc gets 64. I'm running the evga nvidia 570GTX SC.
Huh, i don't remember it having a campaign. Guess I never played it. I know it had bots, but guess I never tried the campaign.
There actually was a better deal I think. Around the same price, but you got 2 games with it (Deus Ex and Shogun 2). Think it has expired now though. Some good deals. Well...if you want to get technical, I think it had a single-player mode (i.e., bots), but I don't think it was an actual campaign. So it did have single player....but not a single player campaign. (IIRC anyway)

PS3 or 360? Question for you expert gamers out there: should I get BF3 for the PS3 or 360? I have both consoles but would there be any difference/advantage to getting the game for either console?
I'm going to talk out of my ass on this one, but I think the Ps3 will have slightly better graphics (few more fps).
Get the PC version, 64 online player, can't contend against that. Maps are too big to be playing with less players, IMO. I guess the console version will have a scaled down version of the maps.
I wouldn't mind getting the PC version but unfortunately my PC is not up to par and couldn't handle most of today's games. So I'm relagated to playing games on the 360 and ps3.
Get the one most your friends will be playing on. Battlefield is a completely different game when playing in a party of 8 all communicating and supporting eachother. That isn't as big of a deal in the other "popular" FPSes since you can be successful one man army commandoing around with no need for actual teammates. Battlefield is an actual team game promoting teamwork. And open Beta starts on the 29th, while closed beta starts on the 27th for those who got passes with MOH.
Can't wait! Sucks seeing that game's icon on Origin and not being able to play it. Really wish I could have gotten it on Steam instead, but Valve won't allow it.
I posted about recommended specs earlier, but either they changed them or I was reading some made-up specs. I believe these are the actual specs:
